It looks like you ran out of room for the exhaust! :) J/K, I had the same issue with the goat. between the wide rear tires and the tank, just no where to go with the tailpipes. I am glad to see you went to the trouble of running them over and around the rearend, very nice work indeed.

I like the header guards. Good idea to have those with a low car. Hope you don't me stealing the idea.

Yea, Im thinking of stealing that idea as well..

I also liked the little "tow knob" .. looks like a place to use incase you need to pull the car..

Very clean.. let me know when the car is done :)

Rick -

Looks awesome. You should get a hold of one of the specialty places to produce those header protectors from your design. Looks like a product in the making. Maybe Jody or Frank have contacts? Just an idea.

What material did you use and how thick?
Did you just weld them directly to the headers?

Nice touch with the cardboard between the car and the lift.

Rick- your car is great! Aren't you working on a big-inch LSx engine swap also?

Your car really stood out on the Power Tour and I told you so at the time. I hope to run into you some time up here in D/FW. It'd be fun to cruise with you to an F-Bod meet or something. :hail:

i think the car is running one of those martz 4 links that has super short arms and binds like a mother if it is ever pushed hard, guys do not have alot of good things to say about the martz set-up unless it is used to go to shows only.

thanks rick, but i have alittle susp knowledge and i know it has too many compromises to fit in the area it fits, i guess its close to your heart, but you will see mine soon, and i doubt you will be able to pick it apart, it will be the highest performance rear susp offered out there in kit form, thanks anyway.
all i was saying was my opinion and also what close friends in the field have told me, sorry for telling the truth.

30 years or not i am sure it work, **** sand paper can work for tp anyday, not that you would want to use it for that but you get the picture.
should we start a poll on martz chassis?? i wonder how it would turn out? i am sure it works fine but there are alot of compromises in the design period.
i have a 68 camaro
thanks

I don't think he ever knocked his car, just the Martz suspension, which has been done about 1001 other times on another site. So nothing new there, ;) .

OK Rick I was supposed to build the best looking and performing 2nd gen camaro. Why did you have to beat me to it?

Love the car. I have looked at your suspension for some time now on Martz web
site. I love it and I think it is a good set up. Also for the price it is one of the least expensive kits around. It is uder $1500 for everything. One day I will cough up the money and get one.

Now ofcourse there are probably better suspensions out there but your looking at $3000-$4000 and who actually needs all that?
