HI All, Have been enjoying the read for some time. I am in total awe at the talent and vehicles here. My name is Randy

My first G-Machine was this one: a 1966 Cyclone with a 700hp big block.

It may look more like a drag car but was more set up for braking/handling and that was its main intent be happy on the strip or a road course.
Unfortunately I had to sell the car when I moved. Wish I could now buy it back to finish it.

Current project is what I call time warpF100 because outside will look like a stock F100. This is a long build as doing it all myself with very limited funds.

This is what it looked like 10yrs ago when purchased.

Its being injected with 482" of SideOiler Ford.

Chassis is now complete, cab is painted and moving on to finishing paint on rest of truck. Wheels will be from Schott, still trying to find brakes but in meantime have added discs from a 77 F150.

Nice cars and welcome. I think I've seen pics of your truck before. Are you also on pro-touring?

yes, that would be me.

Thanks All!

I really enjoy this site. When I go onto my computer (which is many times a day)
I always look for updates here before anything else.

I am very excited about my current project & have had an interest in these trucks since October of 1965 when my dad pulled into the driveway with a brand new 1966 F100. Its what I learned to drive in way back when. (years later he gave it to me along with the love of cars)

I am probably more of a Ford/Mercury fan but have owned a 68 Camaro RS,
a 69 SS and a 69 RS along with a new 83 H.O. Also a bunch of Mopars most recent a low mile all original 1970 SuperBird.

I have done a lot of restorations like the Boss 302 but there is nothing like updating a muscle car to current standards in handling/braking. Getting the older look in a modern chassis.

I am very seriously considering taking a brand new car I have..... Utilizing the entire car less body into something older and lighter in weight. First car that comes to mind is a 1966 Cyclone as pictured above. That car in particular if I could find it would be a great start. The car I am seriously considering canibalizing?

These cars have such incredible ABS, Traction Control and power plant that can be updated to 900+ hp easily with just a blower change and a tune.

Here is the car: Have tried to sell it to finance another project but its now close to what I think the parts would be worth to me......

If anyone here is interested in a Brand new KR body let me know...

I'm sure someone would gladly trade you a GT500 and some cash for your KR, especially if you threatened them with the prospect of cutting up the KR :unibrow:

Also have you seen the "sn65" Mustang that was done a little while ago? I don't remember who the builder was, but he dropped a '65 fastback body over an '03 Cobra, which sounds like something you might be interested in.
