here is part of the build thread..
http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=24122

sorry to the scatteredness of this thread.. like i said im just tired of thinking about it..

Body
-69 camaro sitting in primer and it has already been jambed with gm red.
-new floors pans were installed as well as a rear package tray and deck lid
-it appears some where along the line some one patched the rear quarters( ive owned the car for over 6 years now and its never cracked or bubbled so i didnt worry about it).
-the front clip is assembled but not on the car
-i have all the moundings/trim, etc
-custom adjustable spoiler
-shaved rear panel
-smoothed bumpers
-the interior is pretty much stock but its rough

Drive train
-6.0L/edelbrock cam/edelbrock springs/comp pushrods/ ARP rodbolts (LQ4 with 67K)
-JESEL lsx ss shaft mount rockers with comp push rods(not installed
-Edlebrock performer rpm intake
-MSD6010 ingnition box (not installed)
-Auto craft pan and pickup
-Hooker super comp ceramic coated long tubes
-custom acc bracket setup for the fbody, the engine is as far back and as low as it can go
-4L80E(stock )
- Ford 8.8 rear/373's/Discs-(not installed) it has already had the control arm brackets removed and i will provide the spring perches to make it work on the car

Front Suspension
- Speed-tech upper and lower A-arms
- Hotchkiss 1-1/8 hollow sway bar
- QA1 12 way shocks
- 650LB springs with ajustable cups
- Hotchkiss tie rod sleeves

Rear Suspension
-Stock

Chassis
-Iroc steering box
-half height solid bushings
-integrated subframe connectors
-Transdapt 1" set back plates

Front Brakes
- Willwood 7/8's manual master
- 12" LS1 brakes for the front
- Slotted and cross drilled rotors

Wheels
-Some roller 17/18 corvette wheels with the right 2" adapters
-will also include some 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 mesh wheels. very nice wheels with no rash or issues

-also have a newer abs plastic caprice gas tank(not installed)

the car will need- a front winshield and a computer to control the trans and some decent rear suspension. i have alot of time and research and blood sweat and tears in this car. i just really dont have the time to finish this one out. most of the research has been done and parts have been gathered. it shouldnt take much to get this thing on the road..

nice project! Someone will have a great car when it is finished. I would maybe check out eBay to see if there is anything else similar to go off of. It seems like that is a great place to see what the market will bear

Best of luck selling it

thanks! yeah i didnt really see anything too similar on ebay. i almost thought about putting it on there with a high reserve just to see.

yeah, it is a tough call. You may be better figuring out what you want for it, and put it in one of the auto trader magazines...you would be marketing it to a more targeted audience that way. Otherwise, if you are setting a high reserve on it on eBay you are relying on multiple people waging a bidding war on it within the short timeframe that ebay allows (usually 7-10 days)

Either way, I wish I had enough in the kitty fund to even make a somewhat reasonable offer....best of luck with your sale

im thinking i may just put it in a storage building for a couple of months and see how i feel about it when i pull it back out.. i was just looking for a general idea of what it was worth if i were to abandon ship right now..

Insane project it's really a specialty item.. What would u be comfortable selling it for?

If you can put it in storage, definately do that.

What seems to be happening lately is, figure out what you''ve invested and half that. :( .

Thats kind of what im trying to figure out.. i definately will lose a little money on the deal. Unless some one offers the right amount of cash, i think ive decided im probably going to store it for a couple of months and see if some time apart is just what "we" need. lol. if i dont fall in love again i will probably paint it and install all the loose ends (coil controller, rearend, wheels, trim, etc) maybe just sell it where all it needs is a fuel tank and trans controller.

My buddy decided today that im really a chevelle guy at heart and now that i drive my 70 chevelle daily i've just lost interest in the camaro. my first car was a chevelle and they've always had my heart. an outside opinion always makes a little more sense. haha. im also getting to the point where i need a truck more often and having two muscle cars just isnt making much sense.
