Guys, I was driving today and passed a car lot and saw this on the lot.:wow: It is not a muscle car or antique car lot. It is a regular used car lot. So, I was so surprised. A '62 Impala just sitting there. This car lot is in the hood, so the younger guys only want Caprices and Grand Marquis' to put 24" and 26" wheels. LOL!! Otherwise, that's the only reason I see it sitting on the lot any longer. They were closed so the pics are thru the gate of coarse. I got the number off of the building and I'm gonna call them first thing in the morning. No, I don't need another car, but if the price is right.....guess what? It may be finding it's way to my house.

I'll let you guys know tomorrow. Really, I'm scared to go look at it. Why?? Because I'm afraid I'll like it too much and the price will be affordable. And I need another project like I need a hole in my head.

Interested in seeing what happens. If I didn't already have my 64 I would love to own a 62. Good luck with checking it out and your decisions.

Jon, it's still being loved and enjoyed. I was just looking at it yesterday thinking how cool it was.

I've got a 63 Biscayne for sale :unibrow: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140413784082&viewitem=
I've also got a running, driving, builder 61 Biscayne http://s1009.photobucket.com/albums/af219/tmackg71/Biscaynes/

OK enough of the shameless plugging and thread jacking :_paranoid

Yeah, I called and also went by. They want $7500. It's not a bad car at all. I would give no more the $4000 personally. Price would only increase from there after I really checked the car over good...floorboards, trunk, etc. It's a sbc 350. I really liked the car, but like I said...it's a regular, used car lot that jacking up the price. They didn't even know anything about the car.

Yeah, I love '62's too. I love them because the are a bit smaller and the tail end is just beautiful the way it slants forward.
