Anyone use one of these power racks (like a HLM** series on PP 15):

What do you think of it?

We have one for Project Unfair, but have not driven it yet. John had one on II Much and said it was pure sex! I am really looking forward to sex!

What ratios are you running?

Are you using their pump?

We have a woodward rack on a customers truck that we just got it on the road. We have a little chatter problem at idle when you turn the wheels. But i think we need to upgrade to a better pump. We are running the stock lt1 pump.

But driving down the road, steers super nice, and easy.

I have one. It's the best steering rack I've ever used. I run the 2.3 in/rev pinion, 1.7GPM on a KRC pump.

It's really close to a BMW in terms of feel.

I have a TCP rack in my Mustang, they use Woodward parts, and a KRC pump. Can't remember the flow rating, because I changed the flow valve when I added an Hydraboost. But it's a very good rack.

They use a woodward servo valve but not a woodward rack.

I also have a TCP manual rack in my drag 65 mustang. They use a woodward pinion. the power gets the servo as well.

My next project will have a woodward power rack.

Well, I put my money where my mouth is and today there was a long box with a shiny new rack from Woodward.

I'll have to see how it works out when the 'vette is crusing down the road.

Thanks for the inputs!
