ive been wanting to build a g-machine for a while, just to shut those disrespectful importers up who think the 1/4 mile is as long as it takes to get through all 5 gears, and last i heard ther are no s-curves in it any way.but ill just join them so to have bragging rights in both classes. first my plans are to replace all the rusted sheet metal, which includes about every piece, then suspension, which i heard air bags give a nice solid ride, and i already got a hold of a454 with a th400 trans for a steal at $500. the interior will consist of a 10 point roll cage which was free. i have temp weld wheels, but plan on 17s or 18s with 4 wheel disk. i found its an x11 car when checking the vin but found out it didnt have front disk so its not an ss, which i dont care about as long as its a 69,the first one i got for my girlfriend, and it was the best trade i ever made. also if anybody has leads on where to get reasonable sheetmetal it would be a big help in the cause. thats it so far ill keep everyone informed on progress which will start after the holidays

Hey bobo-
If you want decent sheet metal at a good price and are not concerned with a complete concours rebuild, then you may want to contact National Parts Depot (NPD). It's right up the road from you in Ocala and if you drive up, you can save all of the shipping costs and check out each part before you buy.
