I bought a full front and rear brake kit, but I am only going to use the rear kit, so I have this front setup for sale. This is the CPP 13" big brake kit, with billet hubs and the PBR full size truck caliper. The spindles I believe are the GM short spindle for a chevelle,.. here is a link to the kit,

should fit all first gen camaro, and chevelles.. do a little research if your not sure.. The kit is $799 plus shipping from CPP and with no spindles. I am asking $650 shipped for this setup complete...... :woot:

There are a few things I need that I would possibly trade for-
Nice steering box, and for that matter a good power steering setup
A stainless gas tank (68 camaro)
A kickass shifter for a LT1 T56
An LS1 T56 input shaft
A (preferably wilwood) master cylinder, probably 7/8" bore for manual brakes
Air ride stuff, I need solenoids and a controller, tank, Viair compressor....

can you slide the caliper on the rotor and tell me how what the distance from the top of the caliper to the opposite edge of the rotor ? Trying to find out if they will clear my wheels. Thanks

I measured it.. the rotor being 13" exactly, the caliper adds about 1/2" of diameter, or distance from the opposite edge of the rotor 13.5".. The face of the caliper (part you see with the wheel on) is about 1/4" in (towards center of car) from the wheel mounting surface of the rotor. What wheels are you using? I would say this brake setup provides alot of room, with the caliper being "inward" from the wheel mount surface of the rotor it leaves room for wheels that are flat on the back.. these might fit behind a 16" wheel, and 17's should be easy..

How much does this kit change the track width on a Camaro with OEM front discs?

If I recall it actually pulls the wheels in slightly but I can measure and check that too..

16" wheels won't fit to this set up base on my experience. 17" definitely will.
these breaks are actually pretty good for the money. no regrets..

On the CPP website there are different part no's for chevelle and camaro. Which part would your parts actually be?
I'm looking to fit on a 68 camaro, with original disc brake spindles. Or should i use the spindles included in your kit?

this is kit 6472WBK-P13 and it list chevelle and camaro as well as nova. It should bolt to your disc spindles,. I think you can use the spindles i have as well but im not 100% on that, ill look into it more..
