Mark Williams 35 spline axles with what posi unit ??

Hi My buddy just asked me about using Mark Williams 35 spline axles with a posi unit. He has a MW spool in his 12 bolt now and was wondering if he coulds use the axles with somone elses posi unit or if they have to have a MW posi ? If anyone knows off hand please let me know. Thanks Wayne

I'm not aware of anyone that currently makes a 35 spline posi unit for 12 bolt. Everything I've always read says that 35 spline in the 12 bolt isn't recommended due to how little material is left for the bearings due to the increased axle size.

I heard that WaveTrac was going to produce a 12 bolt version of their carrier and I *might* have seen where they were planning on 35 spline. Not positive about that one though.

Thanks I'm not sure but even a Detroit locker would be better than the spool.
He 's thinking of selling it so he wants it to drive kind of civil. Its a nice car too.

sell the spool and axles and get a 33 spline posi with new axles.....
