I'm looking for a '70-'72 Trans AM. My perfect car would be a restored white/blue stripe car with black interior and a 4spd.. If anyone comes across one, please let me know. I really don't want a project car.

thanks,

SW

Come to the Mecum Auction in May in Indy. There are two Ram Air 4 TA's being sold. Doesn't get much better than that.

SW there has been a couple on Epay for the last few weeks that have not met the reserves.

The one above in the CL add; I talked to that gentleman and he bought the car back in March. The car did not wow him like thought it would. I saw some pictures and that turned me off from buying it for the $.

I saw that one, it was on E-bay a few weeks ago. Something about it does not look right.

I saw those, but for what I am going to do to it, it would kill the value of a ram air 4..

thanks,

SW

You going to leave the paint and body alone and put new suspension, brakes, tires under it?

Man - I really like these early Trans-Ams. Living vicariously through SW, I hope it's going to get a modern powertrain and some DSE goodies.

Good luck with the search.

Yes, slam it, mini tub, big tires and drive it! I don't care about making it fast, since I have a few fast ones already..:)

What happened with your red 73, SW? Or do you really want the white/blue combo?

Good luck on your search. I'm sure it'll look great when done.
