I did a search but didn't come up with much and this is totally out of my league when it comes to car/performance tires so please shoot me some idea's in good tires to look at. I have done my test fitting on the new wheels I am ordering now I need to make sure I have the tires size in what tires I will run to make sure everything will match for fitments. I am going with a 19" up front and 20" in the rear and I know 19"s are not 100% a popular tire size so I need to see who has what I need.

I have looked at so far but suggestions would be great:

Nitto
-NT555
-Invo
-NT05

BFG
-G force KDW

Car will be used as a street car and few track days, nothing supper crazy but I want a tire that performs great when I need it:unibrow:. No rain, unless by chance I hit alittle in the winter months but I'll tell you this much I don't even want to put the wipers back on this car. Just my fun car, weekend toy.

What do you guys say are some great tires everyones been happy with?

Thanks!!!

Nick, the Nittos are a very decent tire and isn't to expensive. I had a set of the BFG KDW II's on my Lexus and hated them. They were noisy as hell. I like Continental's too but they are sorta expensive. And of coarse, if you want the best-of-the-best, Michelin's baby. But be prepared to fork over a good penny. Pirelli's, in my opinion, are far too expensive for the short treadlife. Same with Yokohama's, too short of a treadlife for the money they want for them.

i'm ordering the BFG KDW2's for my car. the girlfriend has them on her CTS-V and i like them. they do suck in heavy rain though so keep that in mind incase you get stuck in a monsoon.

Of those tires, the Nitto NT-05 hands down. Give me a call and I can set you up.

The Selection of BFG tires in 19's and 20's can be pretty thin if you get some meat in the back. Your selection of available tires may make the decision for you. I had to run Bridgestone tires a few weeks ago just because they were the only one who made matching tread on the 2 different 19" tires we needed.

For your money I like the BFG. Great durablity, Good traction with a decent treadwear. Sure sticker would be nicer, But that is what slicks are for. For a Daily Driver, BFG's are where it is at.

Sounds like things are coming along nicely.

Thank you, so it sounds like the BMG on a really nice luxery car is not the ticket but maybe on something loud as for the engine?

Yea I like the way those look. I will let you know if I need help getting them, thank you:cheers:

Slowly getting there, really it's my time that is short.....bussiness, a wife and 3 kids..well I find time here and there:thumbsup:

I have to say I like the looks of the Nittos and the BFG's. I am not 100% on the tire size yet. I did my wheel test fit over the weekend so now I know where I have room to play on stuffing these rear fenders:woot: Need to look at tires and see what I have in sizes to come up with a decision. I am going to post pics of my test fit in my other thread when I pull them off the camera.
