Paint marquez taillights

I want to paint the inner section of my Marquez taillights (68 Camaro). What would be the best way to prep and spray them? Want to paint them black kinda like the stock ones.

I would use a red scotchbrite, then epoxy prime them and paint. You could use a self etch primer also but I think epoxy is better.
