i HAVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH THe 2ND GENS FOR ROUGHLY 15YRS. THEIR POPULARITY (sorry bout caps) is increasing or shall we say the idea of putting money into a once disposable /white trash car is becoming more prevalent. as the 1st gens become common and bland, the following generation with pick up. the 3rd gens will follow. I think there have always been at least 8-10 in my vicinity for all those years too.

Having grown up with the great looking 455 '71-'73 T/A's, they were the baddest cars going IMO back then because of their whole race car look, plus there were so few made, which added to their appeal.

I like all the 2nd gen T/A's. Pontiac nailed the styling on every version IMO. Hated the heft of the doors on my '74 T/A though. :(

To me the T/A's lost that raw look of the '70-73's when the bumpers changed. Same with the Z's.

Even so I liked seeing this one restored.

It should be interesting to see what people create as more and more 2nd gen F-bodies get the envelope pushed on them like on the 1st gens.

I am sure we can fit in another 2nd gen in the shop :D
