Am I missing anything or is DSE the only company that fits 335 tires with their 4 bar suspension. Seems like most of the other companies can't stuff as much tire.

Our Torque Arm rear suspension will fit a 335 no problem, and even a 345 if you are careful with your wheel backspacing.

We sell and install (4) 4 link solutions, and a 3 link, and the above mentioned Toruqe Arm solution. All will work with up to 345s.

Art Morrison also makes a non-intrusive triangulated four bar that will suit 335's...

What 3 link setup do you sell?

Art Morrison can do their rear clip in triangle 4 link or 3 link. I have a 3 link coming for our personal project and will do a full install feature in Super Chevy Magazine.

Assuming the stock frame rails are left in their original position, the frame is notched as much as it can be, the suspension components are under or inside the frame rails... wouldn't all rear suspension setups handle the same size tire?

No, not at all. Where the brackets for the shocks are placed on the rear matters. Where the lower link is located matters. Many kits actually have bracketry that goes into the wheel house on the outside of the frame rail. Many suspesnsions only take 315 or 305 tires.
And many suspensions compromise good geometry simply for packaging. There are limitations to what one can do under the stock floor as it relates to suspension travel / ride height. All systems share the same limitations, some suffer more then others. Some systems eliminate the possibilty of tailpipes also which really sucks.
In summary, just because it is a trick rear suspension, 3 link, 4 link, Torque Arm, does not automatically grant monster tires.

335's are no problem with our Torque arm kit either. Our test car wears 335's with OE frame rails, mini-tubs, and tail pipes...

The Morrison front & rear setup looks good, it seems to cost ALOT more than all the other kits. I'm considering modifying a TCI 3 link to fit 335 tires..

Richard Balas' '67 Camaro has a TCI 4-link and a 335 tire on it using a DSE tub. He modified the outside lip of the TCI coilover crossmember to match the frame rail after the DSE tub install. Check out page 91 of the May 2010 Goodguys Gazette for a good picture of the car.

Do any of you guys know of a reputable location in the Los Angeles area to get a 4 link installed?

Yes they are, but two different companies. This one is owned by a good guy, and he's even been featured in CHP a few times...

Actually, if you include the axle housing, axles, and third member, it's close to DSE's complete setup.
Our goal is to get people to quit using the .045"-thick factory frame rails.
