I am looking into BBS LM wheels, but can't seem to find any good pricing on them. Tire Rack lists them, so I intend to contact them Monday, but would rather go through a member if one of you carries the BBS line...

Thanks,

Jason

I am in the process of building a 69' Camaro, going for a "Big Red" look... I saw an LM BBS today in person and it sealed the deal... That is the wheel for me! I am wanting to run 18" on all 4 corners, 335 or 345 width in the rear PM me if you could give any info. Thank you !

BBS doesn't make a consumer wheel that will fit a first gen camaro.

Only their modular racing wheels can be made to order from what I gather from an e-mail from BBS a while back...

Thanks for your interest in BBS racing wheels, the worlds leader in alloy wheel development.

What type of brakes do you have on this car? I need to know how far the caliper protrudes from the rotor. What size wheel studs are in use?

We can produce some E-26 Gold centers with 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern with a centerbore of 70.7 (front) and 72.0 (rear). The 8 x 17 with 4.75 backspace retails $1109 each and the 9.5 x 17 with 5.50

Retails $1164 each. Currently, the centers are not in stock and will take a minimum of 6-8 weeks from the date of an confirmed order.

Feel free to contact us, if we can be of further assistance.

Gotta pay to play...

Jason, Rogue is correct BBS doesn't build anything that really fit any early GM cars without some creative machining and such.
PM me with what you are doing for suspension, with the right info I point you in right way. We had BBS build the wheels for the 69 Vette we ran at 1st Optima Street Challenge.

Ouch... not really wanting to spend that much coin on wheels... I may do it though if it is possible. I am the beginning stages of my build and only have the idea in my head of what I want the car to look like. I plan to try and keep the cost down but realize that it still won't be cheap to finish it. I suppose it will just take that much longer to get it on the road...:faint:

Let me get a better plan together and I'll PM you guys for more info.

Thank you,

Jason

Even these would work... Anyone have an idea where to find this style at a reasonable cost? I really like those BBS wheels though... Hmmmm...

Have you looked at Forgelines? Give Frank at Prodigy Customs a call.

or a Morrison...They take a stock C6 or Z06 offset. Build the rear width to match the offset of the wheels and you can get the ones for a corvette off the shelf...or any other wheel made for a corvette.

And also on the Forgelines we have the centerlock option on those like the other wheels you posted. We have a killer deal going right now. Give us a call.

These are similar too, and for a really good price. But i don't think you can get them powdercoated.

Any more pictures of the Forgelines? I am liking the BBS better from the picture posted, but it may just be the angle. Anyone running that style on a 69' ? I will call Prodigy this week...

Thanks for all of the input guys ! I appreciate it. :lateral:

The beauty of the forgeline's is that you can get them done any way you want.
Talk to Frank. The Camaro posted is Bad Penny. I am sure there a ton of photos of that car here and over at PT.com with those wheels although I know Steve changed the wheels not too long ago.

I was debate on the forgelines and the BBS ones. went w/ forgelines in the end as I found a dealer to give me a killer deal. You can find BBS take offs for a bit less.
The was a place I contacted in NC that raced Porsches and vettes. they still ran 6-800 a wheel depending on specs. so you can save some coin.

any quality 3pc rim will cost a good penny. a car by the name of 'bad penny' has the forgelines.

Many racing Porsches use the BBS if you need to look at pics, however their bolt pattern is different and many run a single nut.

either way you cant go wrong as long as the wallet is able to release the funds.

Kinesis also has a few nice rims. K28 or K20 same price range 800-1200/ rim

Go with the BBS LM's. Nothing else looks as good. Long after you have forgotten the money you spent you will still have those beautiful wheels to look at. Not to mention, they would sell easily and hold their value should you decide to sell later. Consider them a proxy savings account!
