I'm sick. 3 weeks too late. Frank has already ravaged my credit card.

Someone tried to order on over on PT.com and it wouldn't go through. It almost looks like too good of a deal.

He's good at that. He does the same thing to me.

Agreed I'm debating on ordering some parts not an entire motor. Would love any feedback on the dealer.

Probably because it's for dealers only?? Don't know, but it's a damn good site. I hope it's legit!!:unibrow:

At those prices -- I'd order a truckload!

i thought that maybe the link was for dealers as well, but going through the site as normal the same prices came up. i was suprised at even some of the second best prices. hopefully the first one is legit though. my garage may be filled with a boat load of engines pretty soon. i think its too good to be true though.

tmadden I bet you won't get answers from the dealer like you will from Frank. You can't ask for anyone better .

I can't afford to buy one even at these prices . But I just went to the site and I'm at the screen that is for payment info . I don't know how far the other guy got , but I made it that far.

it says this at the bottom-"Products shown online are available for purchase through participating GM Performance Parts Authorized center dealers. Online purchases can be made within the 48 contiguous United States which excludes Alaska and Hawaii. Individual dealer prices may vary from Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Tax, shipping, and installation extra." im assuming that there is no way the dealer you have to get it through is going to sell it for that much since it says price may vary...???

The catch may be shipping?

Jegs and Summit sell those GMPP crate motors. A zz383 is $5299.99 which is pretty good against the other dealers listed on that site.

There is no way there is that much margin in those motors, has to be a catch....

FYI:
I called this morning in preparation of maxing the business CC out and stock piling these. After 2 of the 3 phone numbers listed, failed, I finally got thru to a person who knew what was comming. He transfered me to the "warehouse division" and that guy told me that they "are not a part of the program and do not know how they got on that website". He said they do not stock any crate engines but can order them. I asked him to quote me on an engine anyway and his price was DOUBLE what is was listed as on gmperformanceparts.
So... like you mother always told you:
"if it sounds too good to be true, it is" :willy:

Yeah, it was DEFINITELY way to good to be true but worth a shot to be sure ;)

To those of you that entered credit card info I would be shutting down those cards. Sounds like a phishing scam to get card info. At least monitor their usage closely.

The only way those prices are real is if the dealership is going out of business.

Yeah, sounds like something's fishy here. I do like the low prices though!!:wow:
That is a VERY LOW price for the 572 BB and the LS7.:_paranoid
