Wow.. it's out already? Just got my first-bounds a few days ago.

Yea, that Camaro from Lakeside is the first 1st/5th meld that I've liked.

Chris Holstrom's '69 is also featured and we indtroduce our new 2001 Z28 project car "black betty"

There's also Karma's last tech story (when done we'll be doing a full feature) and of couse coverage of the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational.

Some guy also stretched the front fenders on my Track Rat project. lol

Eight pages of goodness.. if you had a Camaro at the event you got in..

I also tried to include as many of the times as I could..

My sister distributes mags for Source, so I get my copy when she gets the shipment.

So, with Karma wrapping up on the build.. Do we get Orange Crate next?? Been waitng!! Second gens are becoming my favorites to work on.. Working on some prototype goodies!!

Can't believe you let that shop in Oxnard experiment on your front fenders. LOL

LOL

From the May issue forward Project Orange Krate will be in full swing. Sorry 'bout the delay, but that damn Karma Camaro got in the way :)
I think all the second-gen Camaro guys will be able to pick up some really good ideas on this one. We are starting from the ground up. In the May issue we tear the car apart, then in the June issue we'll strip for paint and see what flaws lie beneath. This could get interesting, but for the sake of getting this thing rolling, I hope there are no surprises.
After that we get into the suspension stuff. I can't wait for that part.

Got our issue yesterday. Great coverage Steve! It's amazing how many mags covered highlights but didn't do a final rundown with all the results. You did a pretty thorough job.
Nice to see a small pic of James, Deb, in the One Lap Camaro too!

It's a great article - I haven't seen the actual magazine yet but I saw the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational piece - awesome work! The pic of Deb is really cool... one day, when our little guy is old enough to understand, we'll be able to show him/her that picture and tell 'em that they're in it too! lol

beautiful car

Not only is that car absolutely amazing, but they really beat on it. Seriously beat on it.
Josh Mishler did a fantastic job with the photography on that one.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. We really do appreciate it.

9 issues a year.. 12 months.. do the math ;)

The good news is that you get a better book since we have a little more time to screw it together.

The bad news for us is that we still have 12 issues to do since we do two Chevelle specials and one Nova annual.

I read the whole magazine last night. Always enjoy it. I didn't realize you had so many problems Steve. Lucky you finished let alone placed.

Is store distribution down? I haven't seen a copy of Camaro Performers at the local Ingles or Wal-Mart in something like a year (I look everytime I'm in both places). No I don't sub - don't ask why. It's a long story.

Borders now carries the magazine.

What exhaust manifolds are pictured on page 23?
