Ok guys, i've tried tons of magazines and different "interior customization" books and found NOTHING!

I was wondering, how the heck do you build a boxed in interior to the trunk? How do the panels hold upright? i know it cant be velcro and it would be hard to drill holes in the sheet metal... how the heck is that done?

There are many ways you could do it, but the easiest method would be to attach some light gage angle to the top and bottom of the area, then attach your panels to that.

im not sure if this is what your looking for but... here is some pics of the build of my trunk. the are held in my interlocking togther and then 4 screws threw where the subs are into the side panels. its all removable as you can see in 4 peices.

:_paranoid To install panel in your truck another way is to use a wood call luan 1/8 in cut the shape you want then mount them on the truck panel with screw after cover them with the matreial.

you see that trunk seal ? pull it up and under there drill a very small hole use stainless screws and use some small strips of wood on the underside . then staple velcro to that peice of wood . you panel will push against that strip with velcro and then stay .

does that help?

Check on our website under the project section and there are tons of examples (very detailed) on how we do them. The Buick Regal is ver detailed and should give you some idea's.
