Curious to know what the builders are using on the top side of the inner fender wells and in the engine bay. I see the flat black looks neat and hygenic

SEM "Hot Rod Black" part# HR010 is a nice product. Its catylized urethane and very durable with a nice satin black finish.

i found the sem was a little too shiny, it was satin. imho duponts hot rod black is the best of the pre mixed single stage paints out there.
I personally use standox black base and there 007 flat clear

I'll have to try that out ! I do the same with my basecoat..
