I'm a lurker that's decided to come out of the woodwork. I'm ready for a new project very soon. There are some fantastic machines and talent on this board. Thanks to all who make this resource possible and keep us gearheads sane during the winter!

About me: I am 28, work as an engineer at an automotive OEM. I live in Florence, KY just outside of Cincinnati, OH. I have a wide taste in cars. I'll post of few pics, past and current rides. Awesome cars on here! My personal favorites have to be Bad Penny and Killer Shark:hail:

Love seeing that newer motor in the old Z. Those cars were so cool.

Welcome! Love the Z. I have been itching to get another one. Had a 77 280 when I was in college.

Looovvve the 260, the SR is insanely cool. Great stance, too. Plus you can stand in front of it in there if you need to work on it :D Pretty nice group you have, diversity is good.

Clean set of cars and builds you've done there. I especially like the z as well. How much will you be selling for?

Welcome to one of the most addictive and costly websites ever. Cool Z, I'm sure that thing flies.

My buddy had a 240 Z set up like that a number of years ago. It was a rocket.

Sent you a pm too that you might be intersted in.

I would like to get 16k for it. So far, there is about 34k invested. I can give details and mod list to anybody who is interested.

Nice looking Z. The flares are awesome. Bumped into a friend doing some tuning runs on his L28T megasquirt 240 tonight.

Thanks, the L28T is a cool setup. I debated on SR20 or RB25, I bought this car as a project and the SR came with it. It certainly wasn't a bad choice though. It runs great, cruises easy and definitely gets peoples attention. SR motors sound deep for a 4cyl so no one ever guesses its not a 6cyl.

Yea, catalog said GT3040 ballbearing, spools around 4k. What turbo is your friend running? I sized my turbo for 500 crank HP. I think I would have made it had I not had boost solenoid problems on the dyno. I haven't been back to test.

Ive always liked 510's. Would be and awesome car with an SR. I thought about going that route but decided the Z car was more of a classic style.

I hear you on running what you have. Wouldn't surprise me if the mild modded SR is as quick as the L28T. He had an L28T in it which he sold to do a RB25. But then decided to get married have children... Decided to put a L28T back in. I think this motor was from a L28T Maxima project he had.

I'd like to see the 510 SR was always loved the early Datsuns. Mom had a 210 wagon, Dad had a 110? followed by a S110 200SX when I was little.
