since i dont have a first gen i really have no buisness posting on this thread.. but ill add my 2 cents worth of oppinion for free this time..
With the money going into these builds im sure there is a market for carbon parts.. but since light weight fibreglass stuff is allready available you will need to manufacture stuff that is closer to OEM fit than aftermarket doors, especially since the weight bonus quickly goes south if you need to add 3 pounds of mud to get them straight...
Front fenders are alittle more mass market, and im sure that carbon fenders and inners would sell in decent quantity as would a coresupport propably do..
there seems to be a trend towards wider bodywork (trans am style) and a set of wider fronts and wider, bond on rear quarters could most likely sell nicely.. especially since many people replace those items anyway when building any PT ish first gen...
but talk is cheap.. and you will need to find somone with a damn straight camaro to do the moulds off.. and somone with the facilities to do CF in a good enough quality to sell to this niche of demi-showcars.. a large autoclave in your shed...
it is imho doubtfull that you can recover the investment in the tooling fo rthe doors if people expect to fit their power windows and fensler doorhandles
but if you can pull it off im sure some awesome cars will come out of it, but fenders, doors, quarterskins and roofskin in carbon could propably sell now a days

so you truly think quarter skins an roof as well? i was think about that as well, i was also think about the wider trans am style like you said but as you said there is money it would cost...thats why i am try to start with just fenders see if i can get them sold...and then move on to the more expensive parts...because molds and parts you make the molds out of are expensive enough out of

Just a heads up you may want to call Matt at Anvil,,,,,, Fenders are already in production and will hit the market fairly soon I believe....
