Hello,
I have been on the forum for awhile and figured it was about time I showed you folks, my little project. I wanted to wait until I had some shots of the work in progress but being up here in Canada and working in an unheated garage not much is getting done. But I have been busy getting parts and plan on getting busy this spring. The plan is a modest pro-touring car with LS power with a few twists.

The body mods are smoothed bumpers, 69 T/A hood, second gen bullet mirrors. Rushforth Rated X's, and a Full Speedtech Front Subframe with their Rear Torque Arm suspension.

I have been working with Kris Horton on the renderings so here are some shots of my evil little plan.

Thanks to Roger and Blake at Speedtech.

Great looking rendering.
What is the color combo? The specific name of the colors is what I am asking.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Kris was very good in taking my ideas for the car and graphically displaying them, I was thrilled to see the final renders. Now, it's time to get my hands dirty on the build. My initial choices are the newer metallic colours such as the Grigio Metallic Grey and Palladium Metallic Silver from (Acura). I will likely have a mock up panel painted first to see if this will work, but I am always on the lookout for "that" shade of silver.

I am sad to say, no real progress has been made other than more parts collection. 2011 was a busy year, new house, new job and getting married to boot, not much time was spent on the car. :willy: More stuff has been slowly acquired, LS2/4L70E,LS3 Intake/Heads. One of these days I will get there!

Great rendering, and parts list. Would love to see some pictures. Better yet we should try to meet up sometime when I am in Calgary, there seems to be a pretty small grout of us up here.

Kevin

Here is a couple of pics as I found it actually not that far from Provost Lloydminster in fact even has the old Sask plate on it. Not really a barn find but it is in pretty good shape for an old bird. Let me know when your coming to Calgary maybe we can grab a beer.

Cheers

Those pictures are very cool, and its funny you found it so close to me.
I was actually looking for a 67 bird instead of a camaro; that is what my dad had when he was 16.
Anyway, I will definitely look you up next time I head that way.
In fact it could be tomorrow, we will see.

Finally

The engine is together!

After some broken head bolt blues. The LS2 is sporting some LS 3 heads/intake,EPS cam with PAC springs and trunion upgrade. A new wegner WAK 33 pulley system and some awesome tall valve covers from iron works!!

One day I will stop posting these crapy cell phone pics and do a build thread proper!!

Thanks all that have helped me and answered my PMs:lateral:
