I will throw my opinion where I should probably shut my mouth.
Are you sure you want to do that? That is a welcome to 2004 modification if there ever was one. I know of a couple people reversing this modifcation.

A constructive reply would probably help the OP out tremendously.

Sorry Bill -- you're absolutely right! My apologies to the OP'r.
I would say that this is one of those "fab jobs" that if you have to ask -- it might be a little difficult to explain how it's done....

I agree with them Wookham. If you don't care about resale and it floats your boat, go for it. Otherwise I'd stay with something that appeals to the masses a little more.

very true but all the cars out there look the same wanted something a little different..........resale isn't an issue ...and if it's done nice enough it will get sold

Then I'd look at the original frame work of the 2002 dash and see if it can be modified to fit your body. Some photos would definitely help. Sounds like a pretty detailed oriented job. I would absolutely contact anybody that has done a similar swap. Been there done that is always valuable info.
It's not very difficult, it just takes a heck of a lot of time, especially since its your first time. You will be using a little of this and that and doing a lot of fab. It would be best to have the donor car right next to you so you can check how it was installed and then transfer that to the project car. Measure, measure, measure and you'll get it. You'll have it in and out more times than you like, but patience will pay off. Remember, its easier to remove material than it is to add it. Measure 5 times and cut once and always take a break to clear your head when you get frustrated.
