damn what a sick subie before the wreck, hope the comment "death at the track" meant that of the car and not the driver. Cant wait to see how the white one turns out if that black looked as awesome as it did

subscribed - Love the car, hate to see what happened to it.

So did insurance cover it or was it a total loss.

Yeah 100% total loss, on the black one. The white one is being built to be what I call a street fighter. Street able track car everything is being integrated to work as one big system. OEM computer with a re flash will make it easy to drive just with about HP on pump/meth injection. Jason R is slowly convincing me to publish more info on the white cars progress. I feel its a grown up import car, pretty stockish exterior very clean modifications, so clean that most will think they are OEM kind of the reverse of what most people want. I like people to look, and keep looking not sure what they are seeing but know its different. :woot:

Good to see you on here, Kendrick. You are such a tease though! You guys are going to crap when you see what he's done to the white car.

Let's just say that whenever Kendrick decides to share, he has a TON of pics to post in the "Inspirational Fab Work" thread and I'll leave it at that.

Why am I not seeing a cage in the black car? I assuming or really hoping that it's there and I'm just missing it. If not, The white one looks ripe to having a cage put into it right now.

Welcome and keep us posted on the white car. I don't know about others but I appreciate a well built import. Turbo+AWD= damn cool.

Mr Rushforth himself is taking the time to do a rendering for the project. Once that is done ill post it, and continue to update. We have some big opportunities in 2010 we hope can bring the build into the spotlight.

Damn, that sucks! As a former 2005 STI owner myself I feel for you. Must have been even worse watching somebody else wreck your car!

Just further reinforces what numerous friends and hardcore open track even guys have told me over the years: never track a car you can't afford to walk away from. As much as I wanted to do some trackdays in my car I never did... it was my daily driver and if anything bad happened at the track it would not be covered by insurance and I'd have to eat it.

Can't wait to see what you come up with this time. Just don't let the same guy drive it!

Now I'm having flashbacks, I miss my Subaru. It was the best "all-around" car I've ever owned.

Update, yesterday I dropped off the heads at P.E.D in tacoma wa, to get the +1mm oversized valves and valve job. Then they head off to get ported, the GSC sgt2 cams will be here in the morning. Monday the internals get dropped off at P.E.D to get balanced.:woot:

Please keep us posted on it. Like I said, I would really like to see it in person. I have big respect for the scoobies done right. Hard to beat that kind of package. And without a doubt the best AWD system on the market:thumbsup:

Looks great! Of course Jason did it, what else would you expect right?

I like the roof being darker. Is that a CF roof panel? Like the hood details too. The hold downs look like the one on the Speedtech 69 Camaro. Very cool pieces.

Still working at it, about to order some 18x10.5's so we can mount the 295/30r18 R888's all the way around. Finished the Abs relocate learned alot doing that that. Pissed off Greg with all my questions and posts but i got it done.
