I'm looking for a little help with my project. I'm building a tube-frame PT 65 Nova. I bought a bare big-bearing early Torino style 9" housing. I'm ready to narrow the housing but, because I have no axles I don't know the distance from the axle flange to the housing flange. In other words I know what dimension I need from wheel to wheel but I don't know what that equates to for the housing itself. Can anybody help me out?
Thanks,
Peter

Early and Torino is a contradiction in terms.
Early or Old Style Big Ford as it is refered to, is a 2.36 offset.
New Style Big Ford, or Torino as it is refered to, is a 2.50 offset

Frank-you're right,I didn't have my literature with me when I posted and was confused. I have the "Big" Ford 9". Thanks for your help, you are a true asset to this website and hobby.
Thanks,
