brake lights

I'm installing a ez wire kit. I have power to all lights except brake lights. There is power going to the switch, but no power when pressed or not. Any help

have you hooked up the steering column yet?

yes . The column is pluged in to each other i'm just wainting on the signal cam to finish it up.
