Now to see it run somewhere...and hopefully caught on vid.

Here's the text from the Autoblog article on it.

"The car is actually nicknamed "57 Sleeper" by its owner, Tim Kerrigan, founder of Red Line Oil. Built by Dominator Street Rods of Tracy, CA, this '57 Chevy is packing a twin-turbo, 540ci V8 with... drum roll please...1589 horsepower and 1508 pound-feet of torque. The car is built on an Art Morrison chassis and features other goodies like Wilwood brakes, custom 3-inch headers, and Schott Performance wheels."

The only reason I posted the pics is 'cuz I like the cut down Bel Air steering wheel.

:D

Yes it is a gorgeous car. Craig Morrison posted on PT that it also has a full traction control system.

Beautiful but doubt it will be very functional. First thing I see is melted inner fenders if you actually beat on the thing.

very nice car no doubt.my complements to the builders of the car.I am all for huge power but come on how can you possibly put that to the ground in a street car on street tires? just seams like a waste of the green to me .watched an episode of pass time and the whole show consisted of twin turbo vipers, lambo's and the least powered car had about 900hp. most around 1100hp.not a one could get anybetter than a mid 11 sec. time slip.just another guy with too much money. I could be wrong maybe we will se him and the next power tour.lol.

I'm betting my Wife's Scion Tc can beat it to 60mph...not a chance it can put that much power to the ground with those short sidewall tires.

Passtime is not where the REAL TT Vipers and Gallardos are. There are plenty of those Vipers in the 7s, 8s and 9s all day long. And a TT Gallardo already runs 9s. Your statement holds no merit.

Another guy with too much money? Please... Is he supposed to apologize for becoming the President of Redline and being able to afford to build a badass car. Sure, we can point out all kinds of "flaws" with everything (and people usually do), but let's get real here.

A fellow on another forum posted this...

"I saw the car and talked to Tim last year at the Peggy Sue car show in Santa Rosa.

The rear wheels are 13 inches wide. He told me they had to modify the Morrison frame to fit.

The car has 2 small radiators with fans in the front wheel wheels for the turbos.

We saw him do two laps in the evening parade and he idled right past us as we watched from the curb. 30 minutes per lap at stop and go idle.

We talked to him again after the parade and he said it never got over 195 F."

Tim’s 57 is amazing to see in person, the detail is over the top. I was fortunate enough to buy my Camaro from Tim Kerrigan. He is truly one of the most down to earth car guys I have ever met. He will talk to anybody about anything having to do with cars. The last car Dominator did for Tim was a great eight finalist for the Ridler. One thing about Tim, he drives his cars EVERYWHERE, it is not too often you see a great eight car, or one like his 57, at a local car show, where people can just walk right up to them. I think he drove the Roadster (great eight) to every local car show far and near…and shared it with everyone. These caliber of cars are usually locked up somewhere in someone’s private collection for no one to ever see. He is NOT “just another guy with too much money” he got Redline Oil where it is, through hard work and dedication.
