very nice. What did you do to the shaker scoop? I really like the gas filler being on the outside of the quarter panel.

I widened it 2.5 inches to narrow margin around the factory hole in the hood it will still open and close as I hit the gas however not really forces air into the carb since it is a forced air injection system but will still look cool. Thanks

What a great idea. The scoop really doesn't fill the hole as well as it could.

I met Andy back in November at the Moultrie swap meet. He came over looking at the Freedom Birb, and then started talking about his project. And I was floored!! Garage cars rule!! This guy as you can tell has some talent. Been telling him to get his but on here and post some pics. Looking forward to following the build.

See you this weekend in Moultrie

I would like to THANK all of you for all the nice things that have been shared with me it means so much coming from each of you my wife says how nice my project is coming but to hear it from true car people and leaders in the industry just pushes me to keep on working. I must admitt there are days I want pour the gas on the car and watch it burn thanks for allyour inspiration

Uh, before you get to the gas and a match, call me. I will arrange the shipping to my house.

They can all be a pain in the butt at times, but in the long run looking back you will be glad you finished it.

Step away from the matches, you are building my dream car! I think it is cool that your wife is into it. To me, that would be cooler than a bunch of car guys, of course we think it is cool.

Ok maybe I went over board with the matches but I have flunge many items all over the shop, but torch it no way the insurance wouldn't cover a fraction of what I have tied up in it.So I'll keep plugging along until her arrival which should be at the Year One show and hopefully the Bandit Run. Keep your fingers crossed.

Just purchased a sweet set of 317 heads for my LS1 this will lower the compression so I can squeeze more boost into her. I am planning on forged pistons and a carb injection setup to push me over 1000 hp on about 18lbs of boost at 5800rpms. I won't be putting her on the track any time soon at least a year or two of car shows then it's on I will dyno of course. Besides if I need it, it will be there waiting for some unsuspecting motorhead to rev up next to me and it will be over before he knows it.

Chad Fletcher at Fletcher Customs has been instrumental in putting the spot light on the Second Gen T/A's. We always seem to be overshadows by those beautiful Camaro's. T/A's always seemed to be that ugly sister you didn't want to talk about, but thanks to his innovative Freedom Bird and the exposure it has received we can now let her show her stuff. I have seen a huge increase in aftermarket parts available and the interest in these cars has sky rocketed. You will never meet a more genuine guy with the attention to detail he has, I have only known him for a short period of time and I consider him a good friend.
