Hi gang,
I just stumbled on this site from a link @camaroz28.com
A little about myself. I'm 40 and have lived in the SF Bay Area my whole life. I've been into Camaros since the age of 13, my favorite being the 1st gens. I've had Camaros, Chevelles and even a Nissan 240SX at one point. (A mental lapse I swear.) I consider myself a Chevy Man and have owned mostly Chevies my entire life. I got back into performance musclecars when my youngest stepson turned 16 and wanted a classic Camaro or a Mustang. I now own two 67 Camaros, one mostly stock original and one slightly modifed. (I also have a 95 Z28 which I've owned since new, hence the name.)
My current project: In November 2003, my stepson and I purchased a fairly clean 67 Camaro plain Jane coupe for hot rodding. When he left for college this fall, it became my project to do with as I wished. (Budget permitting.)
Mods so far:
GM Crate 350HO with misc engine enhancements
Tremec TKO-500 5-spd
Baer 4-wheel Disc brakes
Hotchkis spings, and sway bars (2-inch drop)
Rebuilt 10-bolt to 3.73 posi (by Stock to Performance)
Boyd Coddington 17-inch rims and Dayton Daytona ZR tires
Current plans:
Replace aftermarket front seats with original deluxe buckets
Detail engine bay
Considering new paint.
