Tried searching, but am looking to see what everyone is running for pinion offset? For the background I am working on my 1967 Firebird. It is Pontiac Powered, transmission wise I am up in the air between TKO-600 or T56 haven't decided yet, Anyway rearend is the same dilema. I am looking at either a 9" with Torino ends or a 12-bolt with the special ends (Ford ends). Anyway just checking if you are running the factory offset (I think its an inch or 1/2") or just pinion centered. Forgot to mention rear suspension is DSE mini-tub with leafs.

Don't complicate things and keep it factory type. If you use a 12 bolt, keep it offset and the axles will fit either side. If you use a 9inch, center it. My 12 bolt was cut to center the pinion, causing a later mistake when using a locating fixture for the upper link brackets that locates off the cover bolts. Keep it brand specific and you won't have any problems.

My 9" is offset like the factory 12 bolt. The rear setup is mini-tubed with quadra-link suspension.
