Hi Everyone:
Brendon here. Maybe you know me form some other forums. Just registered here, and my current project is a '67 Firebird. It'll get an LS engine/ 6 speed trans. DSE stage 3 front end, as well as whatever else I can afford to throw at it. It'll also get resurrected from the rust demons that have attacked this poor car.
I'm just getting started on this project, so it'll be a bit before I'm driving. but, if you've seen either my LS powered '84 T/A or LS powered '57 belvedere (I really upset the purists with this one), then you know I'll make something pretty cool here, too.

Welcome! Post up some pictures of all of the cars. They all sound like cool projects. I would love to see the Belvedere. My dad had one years ago. It was a few years newer but still a cool old car. I wish I had it now.

I always love to see more 1st gen Firebirds. I'd like to see the 84 TA as well.

Thank you.
I have since sold the '84 and recently the '57 (the '57 sale is funding my current project). I have a project journal I kept of my '57 here:
http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/journal.php?journalid=20939&action=view
It's also had some local notoriety as it was on a local cable TV car show commercial (hawthorne, CA "teen challenge" car show 2008), it's been inside the San Diego Padres stadium (July 19th 2009) at a Hot Wheels sponsored event game day, as well as the deco was based on my car for the Hot Wheels 2009 Treasure Hunt "'57 Fury". (even has my name on the license plate)
The car is now somewhere in Lake Jackson, Texas.

My '84 I never fixed us cosmetically. I performed the LS1/ 6 speed swap and even got it CA smog certified (what a PITA that was!) Never again. That was a big part of the reason I sold it and decided to build a pre smog car such as this '67.
I have a small "car domain" page on that car here:

This link, below, is from the guy who bought it from me and what he has since done with the car. (some of the pics are the same):

Also, a video of my '84:

I did take this car to Willow springs before. It was a lot of fun until my master cylinder quit on me- ending my open track day early. It was fun running with modern corvettes and mustangs. I don't think anyone expected this car to keep up.
-------
the 67 is a rusty original 326ho car. It was never previously restored, which I liked so I'd avoid having to fix other peoples hack jobs. However, I'm going to need to learn to weld to bring this one back. It's not twerrible, but will take some work in the usual spots.

Thanks for posting the links. The '57 and what you got to do with it was really cool and having GB to hang with and check out your car, wow. Very cool. I would like to meet him one day and just hang out and BS for a while. I bet he has some stories!

Another firebird....sweeeeet:thumbsup:
There is one near me for sale. All stock 326 HO car also. Not too sure how original it is but it looks decent for a driver. I think they are asking around 18k for it. I always liked these.

Okay - the Belvedere is just plain kool... old school kool. I just watched a couple of your videos.
Don't quit your day job to be a movie maker by the way!
Welcome! Post up some pics of the NEW toy!

Thank you. Yeah, taking videos holding the camera while driving isn't always easy :)
Justin, I just might need your help with wheel selection. I'll be in touch as i get closer to making a purchase.
And I'll definitely keep the pics coming.
