See this is what I like about the car hobby, where else can you be driving down the road and be motioned to pull over(other than by a cop) and you do just to talk and take pics with a stranger about your car.

Great pics:thumbsup:

The new Car doesn't have the 'soul' or 'character' that yours shows. No contest.

Very nice looking Car:thumbsup:

Looks very cool but you just cant beat a 69', IMO. Are there any more pictures/info of your car on this site? I have a 69 that's black with white stripes as well and I didnt think the black center wheels would look good but after seeing yours I think its a GREAT look!

The easiest way to beat a 69 is to own a 67.

Doug, your car looks as stunning as ever. Can't wait to meet up with you at the upcoming SoCal events in the spring. I hope all your modifications these past few months have been going smoothly.

Jay, thanks for the compliments! The wheels are from Rushforth, they are the Super Spoke model in a 19 and 20 combo with a matte black finish on the centers. I purchased from Drivers Inc here in So Cal.

Wow---thanks for the all the compliments guys---wasn't expecting that at all, but am greatful you expressed all of those---except my step brother Todd of course . You know when it is your car, you see nothing but all the flaws and the disapointing things you want to change? Well, perhaps not everyone is like that, but I tend to be that way with my stuff only---funny, I never look at someone else's car that way---so I tend to think of my cars as what they can be instead of enjoying them for what they are---thanks for helping me get back to the bigger picture by posting up those comments--

I can't believe Greg hasn't weighed in here yet---he must have broken both arms.

I never liked the blacked out centers either, however they began to grow on me over the course of a year---this site really had a bunch of great cars that weren't afraid to go all out---once Jon at Driverz Inc offered me these, I had to try them. I would probably never go back---the tires and wheels (stance also) are what makes this car (Jon's favorite motto).

Very welcome Doug. Your car is kick ass my friend, you should be proud.
(I still don't think 2 broken arms will stop Greg from weighing in here!! Where there's a will, there's a way with Greg!! lollllll:lol:)

Thanks Bro----you are too kind.

You are right about Greg---maybe he was on an episode of "Intervention" that we somehow missed and they were able to get him to commit to attending a "Posting" rehab program or something. I hope not, that would be a shame---
