I have up for sale a stroked chevy small block V8 engine. The block is a 1980 rv block which has been acid dipped, blasted, magnafluxed and then bored .060 over. The crank is a stock 400ci chevy 3.75 stroke externaly balanced cast crank. Total cubic inches is 388. Bearings are all standard size and are new. Cam bearings are also new, cam is new and is .450 lift, .228 duration at .050 clearance int and exh. Hydralic flat tappet lifters are new. Rods are new, Pro Comp forged 5.75 I beam rods w/floating pins and 3/8 8740 bolts. Pistons are 10.5 compression Speed pro cast hyperteutectic pistons. Gaskets are all Fel-Pro. Heads are late '80s centerbolt 193 heads swirl port heads that have been ported to make them flow better. Great for super low end torque and should make some decent HP with the porting. Valves are 1.94 int/1.5 exh. Oil pan is TransDapt slammer which has a skid pad on the bottom, timing cover is stock style chrome. Everything was new, super clean and carefully assembled. Includes a balancer, Polished power plus intake (copy of Edelbrock torquer) and Polished centerbolt style finned valve covers.

Comp Cams software estimates HP/torque at 350hp and 450 lb/ft torque. Should be a very stout powerplant, great for trucks, hotrods or just crusing around town with enough power to leave some rubber behind. Finished in August, never started, ready and waiting to go in your rig. Asking $2500 will consider offers over $2000.

I'm around Keene, NH. Shipping could be aranged at the buyers cost.
