What do you think of the hotchkis handle bar setup. How was the install?

the Hotchkis front bars are awesome, I noticed a difference on the track and street right away :hail: I also use the rear bar for hotchkis (the shock tower brace) I didn't feel any vehicle reaction, but it looks cool and was only a couple bucks, I did put it on before the front brace and raced the car at a SCCA event without noticeable change

Goodguys Pleasanton Autumn Get-Together 2012

Saturday morning we loaded up at 6am to get to the event early and as I rolled in my freinds Kyle (Kyle Newman from Newman Car Creations) and Deanna (Deanna Mareango from Hotchkis) were already parked and getting ready for the day so I pulled in and we started getting ready
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/november%20GG%20events/430679_4886726496912_579455841_n.jpg

after the morning runs we were all fast!

so we go to the end of day race off, and the standings change

Kyle Newman with Newman Car Creations 55 chevy takes 1st
Frasier from CARS in his 2nd Gen Camaro takes 2nd
and myself (Rodney Prouty) in my 1968 camaro takes 3rd
Time to pack it up for the night

Sunday morning, headed back and the throwout bearing breaks in my camaro, I get to Goodguys and I get asked if I will just stick with yesterdays times or race, and I will race until the car has to be towed, and once again we are back and ready to battle, getting ready, talking about the tightness of the track, were can we pick up a 10th or a 100th

again it comes down to the last runs of the day!!! an Kyle opened up a good 1st place time and I get pushed down to 4th when a 2002 corvette gets me in the end, heres the end of the weekend time for us

After a ten hour drive, we were up early to get to GoodGuys in time for a good pit spot.

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/november%20GG%20events/IMG_2405_zpsdfaa782a.jpg

We took some shortcuts through parking lots and a gravel field (yes, I drove my car through gravel) to get to the gate as they were still setting up the timing and equipment.
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/november%20GG%20events/GEDC9915_zps23a338e0.jpg

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/november%20GG%20events/GEDC9914_zps4e14cfd0.jpg

It was looking like beautiful weather - perfect for racing as we started taking off sweatshirts after the first run.
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/november%20GG%20events/GEDC9899_zpsf09ce49d.jpg

After about six runs on Friday the competition was heating up. By the end of the day, I just managed to squeak out a small lead.
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/november%20GG%20events/StandingsDayOne_zps5361e5ed.jpg

Come Saturday I had thought about the track all night and re-walked the course with a new attitude. After two runs I was able to further drop my times by a few tenths but Jeff Schwartz of famed Schwartz Performance and his 'Temptress' were chasing me down with a vengeance
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/november%20GG%20events/StandingsMid-DaySaturday_zps15e88dec.jpg

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/november%20GG%20events/IMG_2587_zps48c67a13.jpg

So like all movie endings, the event came down to the last run of the day. At this point, I'd already had my turn and Jeff Schwartz was approaching the line with consistent improvements in runs prior. I had to turn my back. I heard the turns, listening for loose rubber or cone killing.... none. More turns and he's hitting the serpentine directly behind me when... I hear some skidding...then the deafening recognizable sound of a cone hit. I looked. Jeff had hit a cone and I knew the win was mine.
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/november%20GG%20events/IMG_2504_zps1d12421e.jpg

How do you get excited when your win means a really nice guy just lost?

How do you cheer when someone hits a cone?

I felt bad for Jeff but was so relieved to know that I had successfully pulled off my first AutoCross win - and a win at at Nationals. Time started to fly by and it was Johnnie Hunkins asking for my jacket size, GoodGuys asking about my car and time to run one last time around the course before the end of the day. GoodGuys wanted to take pictures and all I wanted to do was keep driving!
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/november%20GG%20events/IMG_2573_zps6a87f8f0.jpg

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/november%20GG%20events/IMG_2580_zps995f5497.jpg

It hasn't quite set in yet but I'm sure it will when I hit DelMar and have the honor to run with the 'Pros' -- and get my ass kicked all over again. See you in Del Mar?

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/Del%20Mar%20november%202012/Photo0398-1_zpsc91f282c.jpg

I walked the track in the morning twice and found a few lines that I would try here and there thruout the day to see what helped the times

At the track the morning crowds were looking good

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/Del%20Mar%20november%202012/IMG_3286.jpg

afternoon on Friday, the times looked fine and I didn't need to run any of the lines I found in the morning and was holding just fine

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/Del%20Mar%20november%202012/921_10151298760460874_279264716_n.jpg

On Saturday the group started off running times for warm-ups just as fast as we finished with and then Brett Vokel threw down the hammer!
and ran a 54.xxx time!!! some were he found a 3 second short cut? wow!

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/Del%20Mar%20november%202012/IMG_3075.jpg

then Rob Mcgregor in Hellboy ran a crazy 56.517 lap!! jumping into 2nd, oh damn I am in for it now

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/Del%20Mar%20november%202012/IMG_2726.jpg

thats when I new I had to put on my big boy pants and run my lines and show my hand and I threw down a 55.953 to get back into second

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/Del%20Mar%20november%202012/IMG_2797.jpg

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/Del%20Mar%20november%202012/IMG_3270.jpg

Then Rob ran again and Hellboy pushed a 55.522 run to take back second

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/Del%20Mar%20november%202012/IMG_2630.jpg

I knew it was my last time to beat-up on those Optima cars with my home built 68 Camaro!! and I ran a 55.732 but it wasnt enough, I needed just a few more ponies on the track, but My little car known as Plain Jane dosn't know any better so she just keeps trying to chase down any thing I put in front of her!!

the upper shock mount and adjuster of the new Ridetech shocks, super easy to adjust and I don't have to jack the car up and crawl under it to change setting and fits perfectly thru the Upper Hotchkis shock brace, and the adjustment range of these shocks is awesome

I put the back Ridetech shocks on Monday and and set them as the instructions said and it was stiff, Tuesday I went full soft and it was bouncy, Wednesday I went up to click 5 and it rides well doesn't corner like i wanted, Thursday I only added 3 clicks, on setting 8 and the car feels good in and out of corners, and still rides well....so today I added the front Ridetech shocks to the mix!

so time to open the boxes
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/2013%20ridetech-hotchkis%20upgrades/GEDC0035_zps7f9f4126.jpg

Look at these babies, there awesome looking so I gave you some close up shots, bearing lower T bracket, ride tech uses a swivel bushing upper mount instead of a rubber bushing that shocks have that create some bind in the suspension, and the guys over at ridetech did a excellent job of setting up my shocks to work with the Hotchkis components I'm running right now.

once you have everything apart reinstalling the new shock is fairly simple, because the body of the shock is a large diameter shock has to be installed with the spring the same time as opposed to a stock style shock that can be inserted in the bottom of the control arm
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/2013%20ridetech-hotchkis%20upgrades/GEDC0134_zps9e962cb7.jpg

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/2013%20ridetech-hotchkis%20upgrades/GEDC0136_zps14d48d43.jpg

first you slip the shock into the spring
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/2013%20ridetech-hotchkis%20upgrades/GEDC0137_zps24849a86.jpg

lifting both the shock in the spring he carefully slide them into place

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/2013%20ridetech-hotchkis%20upgrades/GEDC0139_zpsd4930e89.jpg

position the shock in the spring and it's resting place and rotate the shock so T-bar lines up with the mounting holes
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/2013%20ridetech-hotchkis%20upgrades/GEDC0140_zps22daa26d.jpg

once in place you lift up this spring allowing you to place the bolts in the T-bar
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/2013%20ridetech-hotchkis%20upgrades/GEDC0145_zps5c0abf9e.jpg

after the bottom bolts are in place and tightened, I use a Jack to lift the arm upwards allowing me to bolt the upper part of the shock into place
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/2013%20ridetech-hotchkis%20upgrades/GEDC0132_zps11c03aab.jpg

my season warm up didn't go as well as I wanted, I will just say the tires I had for this event... sucked..... I have run the Falken rt615k for a year and have never had a problem, I won some tires at an event and since they where new (but not Falkens) I figured how bad could they be (since this company was promoting them as a autocross tire just a year ago) the car was so loose and out of control it was scary and I was in 30th spot, so Sunday before the event Big O tires were mounting 2 front different tires for me in an attempt to save my weekend race, and I went back to the track and the car was better but not good but I dropped a second on my time and moved up 10 spots to 20, lesson learn "That Company will not fool me again"

Last week at the last minute I decide to run the So Cal Challenge events, so I woke up saturday morning at 2:00am drove 550 miles to the event rolled in at 8:15 am and tech had just started at 8:00, so I was unloading the car during Tech, My girl friend also raced the day, I finished top 4, just beaten by Ridetechs 33, Brett Cambells Fab 53 Roadster Camaro, and Dale's Sunbeam Tiger

Here,s the front wheel update.....width change from 17x8 to 17x9.5 and now the Camaro runs 275-40-17 all four corners you can see there still just inside the fenderwells

Like I said another Great weekend! and a smooth start to the new Goodguys race season, I had a few updates to the car for the new season, the biggest change is the front wheels width, I stepped up to a 9.5" wheel and a 275-40-17 tire, I rolled the fender wells a little. During the first run the turn-in was almost to great, the car was turning so quick it made the rear end a little loose, so I added a little toe in and that smoothed it out some, with the wider front tires the steering input from me had to be smoother so the car was less jerky....after my shake down run the adjustments worked and I ran faster,

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/379001_10200729467469502_2111860799_n_zpsc8c49be4. jpg

It was a weekend battle with a freind of mine from Southern California Brett Cambell from the Fab53.com shop it was a good day saturday and and afterwards we went to Rob MacGregor's motor home for a corn toss game and some beers

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/24422_10200729475829711_1969013979_n_zpsf49ced6e.j pg

Brett was also going faster all weekend and his final run sealed it I couldnt get Jane to get there without one more run, I ran only 5 runs all weekend, 1 less than everyone else because they moved me inside the show grounds next to the Pros and they said because I was moved I lost that turn in the line-up

heres a pic of Brett on his winning run

I gave it one last run and the timing was over at 12:00 sunday and I finished in second

so one of the things I always work on, is the turning ability of my car "Plain Jane" and some of the weapons out there are Ridetechs Tru-Turn and CPP's C-5 spindle for 1st gen camaros,I have had the c-5 around for awhile and now the tru-turn and here's a few pictures of the parts and measurements for everyone to look over and I will show some test and setups over the next few weeks on these

Damn I'm excited, I Just got a bunch of great new parts going on to the car, install will have to wait till after the weekend (Pleasanton Goodguys) I wished I had the parts a few day earlier I could have had them on and did an alignment and tested them before the weekend! This stuff is great looking!

I have the new Triangulated 4 link on the Camaro now from Ridetech, its a great system bolts together quickly and was easier to install than the front suspension, and I have done a little track testing, in getting ready for the end of season goodguys events

heres a simple trick to help your edelbrock Carb keep from stumbling around turns on the autocross or even if you use an eddy offroading, not everyone has this problem, I had it one time on an eddy a few years back and I blocked the channel and never had the problem again and now this is one of the tricks I do to every eddy I work on for friends, I have been asked many times about the little things I do to my car to race, so I thought I would leak a simple trick

pop the top on your carb and in the back is a balance channel
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/engine%20build/GEDC1192_zps0a28b544.jpg

its simple you just need piece of 3/16 fuel hose
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/engine%20build/GEDC1193_zps39aea779.jpg

cut it to the length that sits in the channel
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/engine%20build/GEDC1194_zpsc6e78a39.jpg

press it in the channel
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/engine%20build/GEDC1195_zps2d969c0d.jpg

simple fix right
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/engine%20build/GEDC1196_zpsc4cb12a9.jpg

and now the fuel stays in the bowls better and doesn't slosh around and there still a small opening if one bowl over flows and needs balance

I am no longer at Gotellis, they let me go 2 weeks ago, I was told they cant afford to pay me anymore, now its just Ted and his son....all that work stuff was getting in the way of racing anyways!:lostmarbles:

I had 245 on the front and did some short testing on some prototype parts to run larger rims, and then I switched to the ridetech tru-turn kit up front when a few friends of mine David, Mary, and Crosby all said I really must run the kit, so I installed the kit and did alot of testing(i know Ridetech tested it) but I don't have a mini tub car so the balance for my 275/40/17 on all four corners is slightly different then ridetechs 48 hour Camaro, so I ended up with 800lbs springs on the front 225lbs springs rear, and my rear sway bar rate is.........wait I cant give away all my secrets :guns:

No worries. Have fun in Pleasanton and scuff those Falkens in so you're ready for Scottsdale. If I'm not too burnt out I'm going to try and make that show. I've never been good at the ol Good Guys Peanut, but there will be a lot of familiar faces out there for me to cheer on in the shoot out, and I would also like to run against a few of the cars coming in from the mid west.

I have been using grip tape on my clutch and brake pedals for a little while and the clutch pedal tape shreds after a good track day, for daily use it can go for months without tearing, my question is what some of you guys are running on the pedals

Okay ---

Well then -- hit your local SKATEBOARD shop and ask them for some Grip tape… it's not a brand - they'll have many brands and probably even colors.

Sieg

3M's Safetywalk comes in rubberized and mineral abrasive adhesive tapes. Like Greg said a skate shop may be a good source. Their adhesives typically work!

http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Facilities-Care-Cleaning-NA/commercial-cleaning/cleaning-supplies/?N=6702767&rt=c3

Home centers may carry the rubberized meterial for non-slip tub/shower applications. The mineral products are sometimes sold for exterior deck step and ladder applications.

I had great help from Vince over at Meanstreets Performance (http://meanstreetsperformance.com/#.UiAkN3IcqfE.facebook) and he showed me how to use a really cool pressurization tool and change out the valve springs! along with his comp cams tool, awesome GM performance springs, after a quick lesson, it was my turn, I did get it down to about 5min per cylinder(2 springs)

Great job this past weekend! Wish I could of made it.

That picture above with the hood hinges pushed down makes me cringe.....I did that on a 75' pickup and had one pop up into my face. Luckily it hit above my lip and only required a few stitches at the hospital. I could've lost my eye over that.

sorry for the delay in the update it was a great weekend and hell all at the same time, in the last few weeks Jane developed a bad attitude, after a year of racing and tuning she had a really bad stumble at 5500 RPM, and wouldnt rev any higher, so we swapped valve springs, and tested everything, mechanically she looked fit as a fiddle, so next was electronics, and after a call to MSD they said charging system, HEY I'm game so I updated the alternator and steering pump setup to a slick corvette setup, same problem, I thought fuel? so I upgraded the fuel system to a Holley billet pump, regulator and made it a return system and Holley Carb!, same problem, called MSD again, they said run the power straight to battery, BAM,,, same problem, so out with the old MSD 6LS box and in with a new one, same problem, I was out of time so off to the races

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/Goodguys%20Pleasanton%20November%202013/IMG_6703_zps2055c14d.jpg

I finished in second place, never being able to rev the car above 5500, I shortened my lines, hurried my exits, and still couldn't win without a little more speed, after the weekend I called MSD again and finally got a tech that knew something about it all and said the we have to hook up the box to a computer, after walking me threw the connection process I could see janes heart, and a nasty 5500 safety rev limiter, that for some reason on both boxes would not be overrode by the rev limit pills that the box uses, dag nabit!!! so some quick programing and Jane is ready for the shootout :guns: in scottsdale, now to gather some funds together, put the car back together, and go kick some butt!,,, I hope LOL, keep an eye out for post and updates

the weekend started great, Friday morning I ran the warmup and the car felt great, a ton of RPM and smooth on the course, with 2 runs before lunch and two runs after lunch, we qualified top ten (in forth actually)

Saturday morning and the top ten get two runs to get in the finals! for the last four spots.....my first run is a DNF I didn't come to a complete stop after the run in the stop box....only one more chance to get in so I really push it on the cold track at 9am and I run a 70.153, good enough to get into the shot out but I have a one cone penalty making my time a 71.1XX, pretty good and after everyone else runs theres one car left Jimi Days AMX, and after a good run Jimi runs a 70.5XX clean! no cones so I was out of the last spot and Jimi was in

I have been very happy with all the changes, the first day on the track I was nervous at Scottsdale, and the guys over at MSD actually came to the car and hooked up Janey on there lap-top to clean up or make sure the ignition programs was working great, they moved the grounds and tested the outputs, and shes a happy Jane now, the suspension is very good I am trying to squeeze more out of her so even now (Monday) I'm heading to Crosbys shop to change a few more things!, and with the carbon panels added to her, I weighed her at the Ridetech booth and shes just over 3200lbs, not bad for a rain or shine daily driven girl with radio, heater and dynamat on floor, doors and roof grocery getter

well 2014 is on us, the racing season is knocking on the door and (if you haven't heard) I started work at Ridetech in Indiana, I am lucky enough to have supportive friends, family and an awesome girlfriend of 14 years at my side (who also races) Right now I'm in the middle of a cyclone of activity, packing to move, working, helping friends, and getting one of my builds to a rolling state to push onto a transport truck....but I still found time to get some pre-season Autocross practice in this weekend in marina California, I was testing a new spring rate on Plain Jane and was happy with the results

out at Marina California for a UFO event (United Five-ten Owners) a very well run group of events all year long

My new racing shoes! I thought I would copy Mike Maier (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42GTMDhLG2Y)...it works

I tape a layout of the track to my center console, while in the staging lanes I can review areas in the track I had issues with or to contemplate an alternate line (you often have 5 to 10 minutes between runs) at local events

maybe if one revision could be made...instead of that nipple in the center, ask if they can weld in a 1/4" NPT bung on the flat side of the tank. Oh and real baffles.

the nipple is for the tank vent, they supply one with the kit you just add hose and locate the tank vent (as you know) above the full tank level :D

I have their tank for that Chevelle and there's a perfect spot (above the fuel level) on the front side.

I just hate to drill it and weld in a bung. It's so pretty.

Nice setup there Rod ... question, not to be a smarta.., but should there be a filter before the Holley regulator and before the pump? Just asking cuz that is the route I plan to take with my carb'd SBC.

Keep upgrading and posting pixs .... thanks!

great question....this tank has an internal pump and sock , then right to regulator then the filter and on to the carb...I guess I could put one between the internal pump and the reg, on that short run to the reg :thankyou:

End of the year wrap!

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/2016%20events/optima/zzz_7D23692_zpsmck2aluk.jpg

I’m reflecting on my first complete year of racing since leaving California and feeling really great about my life out here but still missing one of my favorite autocross/friendship experiences out in Scottsdale.

I was fortunate to run 11 major events this year – Nashville and Bowling Green Goodguys, Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational at NCM Motorsports Park, Holley LS Fest, NSRA Spring at Springfield, MO, NSRA Nationals at Louisville, KY, Cars ‘n Cones, Cruisin the Smokies, and even managed to squeeze in some Kentucky Region SCCA.

The car performed flawlessly this year. Suzy took the brunt of a couple of mechanical issues (fuel pump, bad ignition) but those were easily fixed and didn’t make us miss too much time on the track. Most noticeable were the changes we made in the looks department for the Optima event. We went further with the gold to gave Plain Jane a bit more of a Trans Am feel. Some gold wrap and carbon fiber tape and fresh wheels was my attempt to garner a few points in D&E on the outside and some aluminum Kirkey seats with fresh upholstery was the inside – I did finally fix my horn as well. I must have done or said something right because I managed to pull off 7th place in D&E – no idea how that happened with the crowd at that event. What I do know, however, is that I raced my ass off, because I really wanted to make a good showing for my sponsor Spectre Performance. The field was stacked with all the usual names and then some who only show up for the fun tracks, including Mark Stielow, Rob MacGregorr and Brian Finch. In the GTV class, I managed to surprise myself! I was top ten in all racing events! I made the podium for autocross coming in 3rd place, Finch was 2nd and Woo was tops that day

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/2016%20events/13453277_10154152718995874_1399698791_o_zpscwgqkdt 9.jpg

I came in 5th place in the Speed Stop and the biggest surprise of all: I came in 6th place on the Road Course Hot Lap Challenge! My little homebuilt Janie with her stock 350 horsepower on the twists and turns of NCM, came in 6th place! To say that event was a good weekend, was an understatement.

LS Fest was a blast and I managed to come in 17th at Beech Bend out of 150 which normally I wouldn’t feel so good about but Brian Finch came in 15th, so I’m okay with it. Beech Bend reminds me of Pleasanton Goodguys with its park filled with grass and trees – lots of bull****ting while sitting in the shade…just like Pleasanton.

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/crazyshopmonkey/2016%20events/LS%20fest/14291796_1394693960545038_5392509272887292398_n_zp sxt3q5vtp.jpg

Goodguys events hold a special place in my schedule. I always dig running Goodguys, regardless of how crowded or messed up they can get, they are our autocross family reunion. And, I can say with all honestly, they are succeeding at all they do to help us have fun. Goodguys has put more effort into the autocross than in years past and it shows. Great courses, great people running the fun and I felt like I got an exceptional amount of time on track this year. Out here in the Southeast we start our season at Nashville with a lot of fun and great crowd. I managed to come in 5th at Nashville, 6th at Columbus and 7th at Bowling Green. I am definitely feeling like I need to step up my Goodguys game and go pro in 2017 but that won’t change the fun for me if I don’t.

I have many friends in this sport and industry; you are my motivation and driving force to make those long hauls and show up for race day. Without many of you, I would not be able to do this. First and foremost I need to thank Spectre Performance and Michael Morrow. I have worked with Spectre since the early days long before K&N came to town and I appreciate all you continue to do for our sport and for me. This year’s contribution of twilight autocross at Columbus was AMAZING. Additionally, Evil Stig would never have been born without you.

I also need to thank Tanks Inc for the best damn notched LS tank out there, Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil for the highest performing oil for my LS truck motor on the market, Mr. Gasket/ ACCEL Performance Group for your purpose built electrical components that never fail me, Baer Brakes for the absolute best braking components in the industry (No way I would have performed so well at NCM Speed Stop without them!). Thank you Ron Sutton, for your continued encouragement and support of this hobby and for geeking out with me over suspension and tuning. K&N Filters allows Jane to breathe and clear her oil freely. Detroit Speed AND UMI Performance Inc.helped me keep the boat from rocking this year and BFGoodrich Tires kept Jane planted

I saved the best for last: Without the friends and friendships that Suzy and I have made since leaving California none of this would be remotely interesting. We have been so fortunate to fall into a community as rich and colorful as the one we left in California. Camp autocross and the Low Country Boil just get better and better and the trash-talk is at an all-time high. Forging these friendships with not only drivers but your families has made our life here amazing – I can hardly believe it’s only been a couple of years. Many of you helped Suzy when she broke down without me and I can’t tell you enough how trusting I was in her taking off in the car knowing you all had her back.

2017 will bring more events in general, and more for me with some vacation time on the books. I am looking forward to the addition of NSRA (more runs that you’ll get anywhere), LS Fest, Goodguys
