Rodger --
It's too far north for you apparently -- up around Eureka -- 6.5 Magnitude -- but off the coast a ways.. can't find anything about it yet except that it was breaking news on MSNBC ---
I hope they didn't all go for a swim......:_paranoid

It might be off the coast far enough that it was "nothing" -- but the headline was "6.5 Earthquake off the coast of California" ... didn't say where - etc.

Apparently there is no damage -- must have been WAY off the coast...

Nothing felt here in Concord. I'm about 30 mins from SF.
So far so good with no damage reports.

I felt nothing. Just saw it on AOL when I was checking my email and was surprised to here it was a 6.5. I read that there were a few chimneys down, but I don't know how much else there was.

My firm has two offices in Eureka. No damage to the buildings but we were without power for 8 hours.
News this morning showed some decent damage in the mall and around town.
I'll be up there later this week.
