and one i was wondering where the hell it came from.. anyone know this car? ive saved these photos of this car since before i got my camaro.. its hideous in most respects.. but it sparked me up.

These pictures are of an actual vintage 69 Camaro from the TransAm series. Saw this car at the Speed Festival in San Diego and shot a bunch of pics. This is the inspiration for my next build!!

This car was really wide. 335 rear tire with no tubs needed!! :thumbsup:

yea that silver one is horrific... BUT it deserves to be in here for your viewing pleasure.

Do you have any more info on that GTO? Like drivetrain specs, top speed numbers or any build info?

he's a member on pro-touring.com and I thought here too. proGTO or something like that I believe is his name. It's a really cool car.

I need to scan a couple of my 68, it had steel flares in 87 when I got it, it was done by a Porsche builder in Daytona in the early 80's

First thing I did was the grill....can't imagine why. Here is how it looked right after.
