So I had my surgery today. Left shoulder. Everything went well but it took a bit of work to get it back into shape by the Dr. Two tears, bone spur, some problem with the bicep tendon and few other issues. All is well now, at home recovering. Typing one handed too:lol: .

This is not too bad, till the pain block wears off. I have had the right side done three times and remember waking up in the middle of the night when it starts to get feeling back. I will make sure that does not happen again.

The pictures are pretty gross though!:D

Jeez, sounds intense, glad it turned out ok though. What caused the issues?

Oh, and post the pics :D

I will try and get the pics up soon. I don't have a scanner at home.

  the meds are going to help for sure!

I had hurt the right side in Aug '08 and had that one worked on in Oct '08. I think the left side got trashed from overcompensating for the right too much. Just a guess though.

Heal up quickly brother---btw, I think Discovery Channel has old Overhaulin episodes on mid day---I was off work yesterday and caught two back to back episodes---one I had never seen--John Force School Bus ----I was shocked that John didn't get bleeped more than he did on the episode---somehow I watched the whole thing---it was entertaining---

Those lobotomies are tough... but you don't feel much pain... it's more of a drooling sensation.

I have to go in for the same surgery. tear and bone spurs in the left shoulder. I pushed mine out until the end of July. gives me time to enjoy most of the summer, and then i will be relaxing at home when it gets to be 100 degrees in my work everyday, like it does in late july and august. rehab will be shovelling once next winter hits

Thanks Steve.
It does suck but in the long run it is for the better. These types of injuries don't heal very fast so it is really easy to keep doing more damage unless there is some kind of repair done. I really needed it done.

I hear you there! I am stuck here for a few more days then I should be able to get out a little. I hope.
There was a spur in my shoulder too and I had never seen one before. Pretty interesting to look at in the surg pics.
