Ok heres the deal.. im in denmark... ive just bought a 35 humpback and its in primer, with alittle rust... so ill need to do some serious surface prep to kill the rust once and for all.. its not possible to have a car acid dipped... no tanks big enough in the country.. and all the mediablasting ive seen done here have done more damage than good... so how do i prep the metal?? sand it down with a DA, and shoot it with etch primer?

there is no way around blasting,if you want all the rust taken out of pits, blasting is your only option, since you can't find alcaline dipping facility, after blasting, use acid etch metal wash, after it's dry, apply etching primer followed by epoxy primer, that is the only safe way I know how to stop and keep the rust from forming

ill have it blasted before it gets shipped here then.. i halked to the gyy doing the chop (im not good enough to gackle chopping a 35 ford myself, and thisguy has been doing it for 53 years..) so he will have it plastic bead blasted, washed, etched and epoxyprimered.. so thanx for the reply

make sure to tell him to provide pics of the whole process,so you can actually see what's been done to it before getting covered up with primer
