Who's slider have you guys been using to mount recaro's in a first gen camaro? Do they make a bolt in bracket? Are the sliders made by recaro. Im concerned about the seat height and curious how you mounted yours with mods or with out. Pretty much going with the speed s.

Thanks Rich

Rich, Try to locate a damaged Mazda Rx8, the sliders on the 09 models I believe are different than the previous years which should be all the same.
They come with Recaro seats

Hey Rich,

I've got the Wedge engineering seat brackets, and they work just fine. Only minor complaint might be that some modification may be required if you want to drop the Recaros down all of the way as the seat belt bolts hit the mounting bracket on the seat if you've got it on the lowest setting. Its hard to describe, I can get you pictures this week if you like. Regardless, if you're worried about height, they still sit pretty low on the middle setting.

Finally had a chance to get some pictures for you Rich. I had forgotten that the passenger side bracket cleared the bolts by a hair, and that is what I got a picture of. If you don't have carpet padding around the area it should all fit fine. Took a couple so you could see about how high the seats are. The driver's side which is sitting on the middle height might be half and inch higher, if that.

Matt,

Who did you interior?

It looks beautiful with the suede inserts and cf trim on the panels.

A shop called Southern California Upholstery in Placentia did the interior. I'd recommend them as long as you aren't working on a short timeframe with a Marquez interior, which takes time to fit perfectly...
