Imagine that.... :D

looks like a cool and useable broject... The roofline looks lower... is it a 2dr.ht front windscreen? .. or isnt it untill later they started having 2 different roofheights?

Great project I can just see it now, 4- 5 point harnesses, full cage & flying around the road course with the kids having a blast in the back(with helmets on).:lateral:

I was seriously thinking about trying to find a two door at one time. Now we have 3 kids (oldest is 8) and I could not imagine trying to cram them in over the fold down. The kids love the car.

What else are you working on?

thanks for your input.

I relate to having tools and wishing I knew what to do with them. I am very amateur car builder guy.

It is wet here in the NW, especially this last week. I am glad my car will be all weather or it would never see the street.

Make it a great day,

Vic

I really like the lines on the 64 & 65 Chevelles. In addition you just don't see very many of them around. It seems everyone has a 66 or 7 ( my dad has 66 tore apart in his garage)

Glad to hear more positive feedback on the Hotchkiss stuff. Look forward to being butter in the corners.

Make it a great day,

Vic

When it comes to exact details about most of the cars I struggle. I have always been a true lover of the machine and sadly did not pay enough attention to the details. I do think the 64 & 5 had the same roof line. I think the only real different is the front grill area.

We are not chopping any tops or anything. As far as body mods it will stay pretty simple.

We have 3 kids, the oldest being 8. They absolutely love cruising. We did the Good Guys Poker run a couple of years back and they were totally stoked. I had considered selling the hotrod wagon a couple years back but my daughter started crying. (God bless her.) If not for her we would not be on this journey of hotrod nirvana.

Still trying to convince my wife to let the gremlins rock the belts and helmets. I'm a pretty good salesman, will keep working on her.

I know what you mean my son is 9 months and growing like a weed. I've had 4 64 4dr wagons and when I got the chance to purchase the 65 2dr I couldnt pass it up. About 10 yrs ago I turned a 64 belair wagon into a 2dr and just love wagons especially 2drs but they arent quite family friendly. I am working on my 67 300 deluxe my first car. Among many customer cars. 70 mustang fastback PT car, 68 elcamino, 62 corvette 62 coupe deville and a few others. I love the rendering Jason does all my renderings he's good peoples. What part of the Northwet are you from?

Wagons rule!

It's great to see so many wagon projects, and we're delighted to hear that our parts are being used and enjoyed.

Check out the Hotchkis equipped wagon in the Super Chevy Handling Challenge.
