Hey all,
I haven't been too active here at all. I posted one other pic of my car the day after I met the 'sites owner at CarCraft in St. Paul in '08. In that intro pic the car was on a flatbed and all uglified from a garage fire (smoke damage only... Whew!)

Here is the current state:
21662
21663

I have an deal pending on these wheels and the steering wheel so I am browsing replacements.
21665
21664

I am of a mind to get back into 5 spoke wheels and a traditional 3 spoke steering wheel, Anybody want to suggest something that will bring back some retro nostalgia but still have that technical appearance? Right now I am thinking of a Next generation Cragar SS style, concealed lugnuts may be a plus (easier to polish).

There is a thread on here or Team Camaro with lots of wheel/tire combos listed with pics. I was lost in there awhile. I saw a Camaro in a picture showing really nice big 5 spokes that had virtually no contour in the rim bead/lip are that looked great. No idea who makes them though.

I am open to ideas, quality and strength are important. Something that isn't out of this world expensive would be a blessing but in this game thats usually not where our tastes reside now is it?

Please chime in on sizes too, 17 x ? will be the minimum. I will need to fit an uncut cars clearances.

PS. These Weld Wheels are VR14 Flames in 16x8 BS forgotten, 3.5 maybe. Tires are Bridgestone P245/45ZR16 all around. Setup purchased in '96
Steering Wheel is a Colorado Customs Firestone.

Welcome back....? :D Have you looked into Vintage Wheels, Rushforth, Budnik, Boze, or better yet take a look at the web site for Driverzinc, they have a link on the left side column here. Give Justin or John a call after you look over the selection they have. They carry many different lines and are great at helping with fitment questions and have great prices too.
Keep us posted on what you decide on. WITH LOTS OF PICTURES.
Good luck!
