Buyer takes on that responsibility, regardless of where the car is. JMO.

shipping to Europe is easy,my guy in jersey comes and picks it up at my house and puts in the container for me and away it goes.

I would sell it to Germany the Cobra will be much happier on the autobahn:lol:

yeah selling to Europe is no big deal. Of course make sure you have the money in hand before you ship. Also make sure that your buyer is all setup with the shipping company
so they don't come back for you for something unpaid.

I did it from here through the Port Of Seattle. The car went to Sweden ('04 Cobra Mustang). Getting it in a container is easy. There are many brokers who will help take care of the paperwork. The hard part was on the other end, waiting for it to clear customs and then the tax bill. If you sell it to Hawaii you may want to use a broker that can ship to the west coast by rail then on to the boat for the rest of the trip. I mention this because the added expense of going through the Panama Canal is HUGE and it will add about two weeks to the trip.
It can all be done and is not too hard. Just make sure you look at all options.
