Some may have seen this but for those who haven't...it's worth a look. If anything goes wrong with the van....instant death!
Davesfarm in Canada...everytime I run across a video of his, I always end up watching his stuff for too long!

A collective IQ of what? About 75?
I always ask myself why someone would put so much time and effort into stuff like this... I've never gotten a good answer.

When that guy filming laughs, I'm pretty sure he's the guy that does the voice for "Plankton" on SpongeBob Square Pants.

You just left the door WIDE open there buddy......good luck!
And for the brain dead idiots with the red neck roller coaster, yeah it's very funny. But I want to see some carnage. I am guessing that even with a serious crash and injuries the guy with the camera still laughs his ass off. And they continue building these things. No brain, no pain. Even Darwin would be dissapointed in these guys.:D

Because they can and others cannot. Just like why anyone does anything that others have not done or won't even try to do... or simply don't have the guts, intelligence, will power or creativeness to attempt the unusual or "impossible".
a few things come to mind....
creating a horseless carriage
flight
generating electricity
curing disease
It reminds me of the back of one of the Mopar Collectors Guide T-shirts from a few years back. "If you have to ask, you wouldn't understand"

If you can put your ideas of "safety" to the side... a weekend at David's Farm looks like a hell of a lot of fun to me.
I accidentally found one of his videos on youtube earlier this year... and stayed awake until 3am or something watching video after video. :P
Also, the J-body based Redneck Rollercoaster is a far more entertaining watch than the Astro... including reverse neutral drop wheelies.

Same here, Troy. I discovered his videos a while ago as well. Funny as hell, but after googling his name, I'll never watch another one again. He's got some serious skeletons in the closet.

Yeah, there is that little matter of "underage antics" back in the early 90's... I can see how that makes watching his videos a bit uncomfortable. Makes you think of Dave's voice narrating another video, only more creepy... :willy:

I don't know that I'd call David Rocks (DavidsFarm "fame") underage "antics"....
Rock's popularity prompted Google-owned YouTube to make him a business partner.
"Young males want something short and sweet, something maybe sexy -- so I use pretty women to do my things -- they want maximum excitement, like a big jump or something that's outrageous or crazy . . . that's how the teenage male brain works."
But the 47-year-old's successful quest for Internet fame has also trained a spotlight on his past, giving ammunition to his critics and pause to even some dedicated fans.
Rock was jailed in 1992 for the sexual exploitation of a pair of what court records refer to as "young person(s)." He says they were teenage boys he encouraged to masturbate while he videotaped them and sexual assaults on two children whose genitals he says he touched and videotaped.
He was also convicted of giving a child rum, court records show. In all, Rock pleaded guilty to seven charges and four more were dropped. He was sentenced to a year in jail, records show.

I read somewhere that he is making 10K plus per month off this youtube deal. I wonder if they are aware of his past....seems like they would drop him instantly. His voice creeps me out now.
