Thats just BAD*$$. Seeing a musclecar do that is outstanding. I wonder what the original designers of the Cuda would say if they could see these runs being made. Probably not in their wildest dreams would they expect the Cuda to be doing 208mph.

neat...
i need to see more pics. somehow the dash and maybe the rest of the interior seemed a little lacking in comparison to the rest of the car... strangely, having said that, I am a big fan of sleepers...

Killer cuda. That takes some major balls to drive that car that fast. Enzo looked like a pile compared to that cuda man!

Interesting to see the windshield mouldings pop in the LMC video, as we had this happen to us on the 2006 Hot Rod Power Tour in one of Delaney's builds.
Jon Clark of Mopar Performance was driving, stating that they hit 175 MPH
The look on his face is "Matt's not going to be to happy about this" (but since I provided the crate HEMI engine for the build, maybe he won't say too much)
http://www.hydratechbraking.com/images/HRPT%2006/file%202/P6090192.JPG
I wonder if liberal use of the urethane sealer that holds the glass in would hold? It would be messy and would make the moulding impossible to remove in the future, but at least the mouldings would stay put! Actually, I'll bet some simple duct tape applied before hand would keep the wind from getting under the moulding (but who wants to drive around with duct tape holding their ride together!). I admit that I also ran out of cajones in pushing some of Matt's cars out on the tour, as the hoods on these E bodies look like they're going to come right off at speed - very unnerving!

That was an awesome video. Thanks for posting. The cuda is very impressive for sure considering it's aerodynamics, but I'd have to disagree Todd that it makes the Enzo look like a pile.
So Charley, can we see what the Mule or Jackass could do???

That's about the coolest thing I've seen all day.
I hate seen mega dollar builds that never go around the track.
This thing walks the walk HARDER than it talks. Understated FTW.
Since he mentions that aero is what limits it, and the Alan Johnson cuda allegedly has more aero work, where the hell is a vid of it going 200+ ?
Thank you. This vid is better than porn.

That will light your fire. Amazing build ! That's what makes this stuff fun to build and drive - excellent job !
And hats off to the Enzo owner who drives that car like it should be driven - hard !

This is the same Cuda I had posted the build videos and was flamed, LOL, for saying that it looked like it was going to set a new performance trend. I gues I wasn't to far off.

This is one of my all time favorite. Saw it at SEMA and pictures don't do it justice, very subtle build.

Anyone with deep pockets that was thinking of buying an Enzo over building a musclecar ought to see this video. That would make me walk out of a Ferrari dealership.

:wow: What can I say that hasnt already been said. Its NOT a poser or show car, its the REAL deal. Agreed, hats off to the Enzo driver for driving his Ferrari the way it was intended to be driven! But that car hit it out of the park for me! Thanks for sharing the video! Like Rick K said...

Absolutely awesome. That last clip of it going by at top speed is just sick. Very inspiring. Don't knock the Enzo too much, it did set the track record. The only thing we saw was the Cuda pulling away on the straights which we would expect with that much HP. They didn't do a full track comparison(turns, braking, etc). Regardless, the f'ing Cuda is just sick. No doubt which one I'd want.
I was always wondering about how much MPH our stainless steel trim could take before coming off. Also makes me wonder about some of the front and rear plastic spoilers we run, and the side-view mirrors.
I'm also wondering how the hood on the Cuda could have bowed 3 inches at top speed as the driver mentioned without something breaking. Three inches is a lot of 'flex'.

I just sat here for a couple of mins, and did not know what to say, that has not been said. It really blows my mind to see a car 40 years ago, go this fast with very little done to the body to get to this speed.
This car put it where it counts, no bull---- claims, just take it out to the track, and lay it down. This car just set a challenge for other builders to TRY to beat.
MOPAR POWER at it's finest. :hail:

LOL,
I had an unfair advantage because I had seen the 1st three episode of the build. By the time I posted, they were on the fourth episode. The guys here only saw from episode four forward.
Some here are still under the impression it has a Viper suspension. The suspension was all custom made.
I did speak with Peter (Owner of LMC) at SEMA and they are going to put all the episode of the build when the season is over. We will all have a better idea of the all the thought that went into the build.
