I have tell the entire world. I went to the greatest show ever last night, and while I had high expectations, I was still a bit surprised. These guys blew the roof off the place!

Trans-Siberian Orchestra!

I have been to some pretty big shows 48 years, I am a concert nut and have seen most of the biggest names. I have seen Kiss! Van Halen when they were young. The Stones. Been backstage for Motley Crue in the 80s. Seen Metalica every chance I get, Hell I have been backstage for the Genitorturers!

NOTHING, Nothing, nothing compared to the show last night. They fricken kicked ass with a awesome light and video show and hard hitting Orchestra music for 3 hours!

We had good seats and were only $37. I could have had row AA for $150 a seat, and next time I go I will pay whatever price for front and center.

They sold out 2 shows here Saturday. They are heading to Tampa tonight and I just tried to find tickets for the Tampa show, no chance of that.

So if you ever get the chance, GO!

If you have no idea who they are, I am certain you will recognize this song and many others if you got through You Tube.

You are right Frank. I had a chance to see them and not knowing what to expect I was BLOWN AWAY! I am also a huge hard rock/heavy metal fan and the show was just unreal. Anyone who has a chance to go will not be dissapointed.

The youtube videos are cool but really don't do them any justice. When you are there and can feel the music it is entirely different. If you like music you will really like seeing one of these shows.

Ive seen there concert twice already. Its the best concert for this time of year.
I gave my parents tickets to go last year. They liked it but said it was to loud for them.
I agree with Frank, take the opportunity to see this concert if it comes to your town. If not pick up the cds for the holidays.

I took my son to see them last year, what a great show. They are here in chicago for only one day, 12/26 and I can't make it.

Frank, you are right. Trans-Siberian Orchestra is awesome, if someone has not seen them, they need to. Doubt they will be disappointed. My wife and I went couple years ago and loved it.

...next time I go I will pay whatever price for front and center...

TSO has been a favorite of mine for a long time. Although, let me suggest that front/center is not as awesome as you might think; a lot of things get swallowed up by the stage and you can't take it all in. After attending shows every year for the last several, my favorite has been the lowest row in the stands, about halfway down the side of the arena. Far enough back you can take everything in, but still close enough you can see their faces/etc and get 'snowed' on. No matter where you sit, it's easy to get addicted  . And if you haven't already, head to their website and read the stories of the albums; cool stuff.

They actually have two 'groups', one does east coast venues, the other west cost venues. I prefer whichever one doesn't have Petrelli; his shows tend to run a little long. Still awesome, though.

And DAWG, they just put out a new album, "Nightcastle", you might find it more to your liking. They also have an older album, "Beethoven's Last Night", also non-holiday; as well as most of the stuff the Oliva's did as Savatage.

If you sign up for their fan club on their website, they notify you before tickets go on sale and they have a 'members only' pre-sale so you can pick tickets before the general public for a discount.
