Guy's, what do you think my price point should be on this car ? Am I in the ballpark with my price, or out of line ?

I think it depends on how quick you want to sell. I think the car would go pretty quick in the $40k - $45k range. I think you can sell the car between $50k - $60k if you are willing to wait for the right buyer.

To be brutally honest while the craftsmanship on the paint and interior on your car is great, the style is unique. You are going to have to wait to find a buyer with similar tastes as you or make it such a deal that someone can afford to change things to meet their tastes. I know you have a lot of money in the interior but that only increases the price for someone who really likes it.

The one other item that may be hurting the sell is most of the other cars in that asking price have some type of suspension upgrades. With the true pro-touring crowd they are expecting some upgrades like tubular control arms for that type of money.

I look at cars like the 69 RockDogz camaro that was selling on pro-touring for what I considered a steal and can't believe he had to drop the price and wait 6+ months. The car was covered in Camaro Performers and had a lot of top of the line parts on it.

Just my $0.02

Don't forget the economy is still in the toilet too.

haven't I seen this on eBay a few times? It's a shame this thing hasn't sold. Such a beautiful car.

I have put it on ebay a few times with no luck. I've had many trade offers on it, but I wasn't really looking to trade for anything. I've since changed my mind as I'm looking for a truck with a plow setup. I would do a trade for that + cash.

I have decided to send the car off to Frank @ Prodigy for some updating. From there we will be taking it to auction.
Just waiting on the trailer to come and pick it up...

I will be following this one to see how it turns out. Please send us some updates after Prodigy updates it. I know Frank "flips" these types of cars as part of his business from time to time so he should know what it takes to do well at auction. Good luck!

I'd also like to Thank Steve from Hot rods by Steve.. He has been of great assistance to me over the last few weeks.
If I was going to still try and sell this locally, he was going to do the updates for me. Great Guy and very helpful.
I come to the conclusion that money lies at auctions for these cars.

Joe you deserve a metal for what you've been through with the last builder. If the board only knew half the story. Frank knows his $hit. You're in good hands. Now like they say on TV.... SELL IT, SELL IT, SELL IT !!!!

Car just sold at Mecum. It did very well on the block but did not hit the reserve. Got up to 61K.
High bidder came back a few minutes later and bought it.
Thanks to Frank and the crew at Prodigy for an outstanding job. Updated this car in a very short time and it came out just awesome.
