Found this old magazine in a box recently when going through old stuff I have.
It is the Chevy Bible from 1976, it was published by Engeldrum in N.Y.
They made a coulpe of magazines back then, for example a magazine called
"Chevy Power" that ran a lot of stuff on Motion cars. I have a few of those
magazines as well and "Super Chevy" and "Chevy Hi-Perf" from back then.
They are fun to look through.

I just had to share this, look at the prices and all was over the counterparts
at your local Chevydealer. The list is 10 pages long and covers ZL-1's to
302's, from complete shortblocks to nuts and bolts. They list the bare ZL-1
block (3965755) as discontinued so we can't see any price on that. But $875
for a complete L-88 shortblock (3970699) would have been a great
investment.

I remember whe you could buy complete running Muscle cars for under $2k. I bought a nice running 1970 Chevelle SS 396 for $1,800, a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6 for $3,500 and a 1971 Chevelle SS 350 for $750...those were the days.
