C6 Z06 or the new CTS-V brakes, what are the differences between the two? The other question would be are they interchangeable?

Thanks guys.

Aren't the CTS-V pieces 4-piston Brembos, while the ZO6 brakes are GM 6-piston?

The new CTS-V brakes are 6 piston front 4 in the back and the old CTS-v brakes are 4 piston all the way around.

Elky, or anyone else,

Are the new calipers the same though just different colors?

Maybe give Tobin at Kore3 a call to find out about the differences if any.

I'm not totally up to speed on the current generation of CTS-V Brembo brakes, but I'm working on it. I'll see what I can turn up and post back up with any info I can find. If they have similar mounting to what the old 4/4-piston calipers had, then they are not interchangeable with the C5/C6 PBR stuff due to different mounting hardware size, M12 versus M14 and more importantly, the radial offsets.

Thanks Tobin,

I thought the C5/C6 and Caddy stuff was interchangeable but if it's not I'm not going to persue it.
