I want to use a wilwood pedal assembly and master cylinders, will they work out in my 68 camaro? I just dont know if they'll get in the way of my steering column, which would be best foward or rear mounted masters? any help would be great. thanks telly

Here are some pics on a 69 I did with Wilwood pedals.. They take some work to get them to fit.. It will clear your column with no problem.. Forward mount will keep the m/c away from the interior.. Reverse mount m/c would be good if you have firewall clearence issues.. hope this helps some :D

gonzo - what are you going to use for, and where are you going to mount your reserviors. that setup looks really clean. any pics of fabbing the firewall on the engine compartment side? that raised section looks really good.
tellyv - there is a thread on pt.com about the wilwoods. the only real problem is that you cant put the brake pedal back in the stock location. every car i looked at since reading that thread has had the brake pedal directly under the steering column. for me and my chevelle that doesnt really apply since my gas pedal had to be moved over for the tranny tunnel. my brake pedal will be to the left of the column, not around as in gonzo's pics.

Here are the pics of the CV reservoirs that I will be using.. We machined threads into the M/C so that we can screw a reservoir into M/C.. then we machined the smaller threads on the CV reservoir..
We did not a flat firewall on this build so what we did was machine 1/4 inch thk plate with 1/2 radius on the parameter of the plate with the mounting of M/C & pedal base, then we welded the plate to the firewall..

let us know what parts you end up with. id love to go with those cv reservoirs, but they are a little too much right now. kinda hard to justify though, since i just spent all that money with ringbros. oh well.
