Hey guys, don`t know if this topic should be here but I am chasing locking billet hood pins. Have seen the ones on hoodpins.com but everything seems to be out of stock on their website which worries me a bit. Any help would be great.I like the ring bros ones but hav`nt seen the locking ones from them. thanks, Ken

I am not sure about it but I would imagine the guys are at SEMA this week. The Hoodpins.net sets are really nice. Hotchkis just released a set but I'm not sure if they offer it in a locking version.

I just checked the website and it lists 11 units in stock in the machined finish locking hoodpins (hoodpins.net)

I just installed a billet set from hoodpins.net on the Anvil carbon fiber hood thats on Tys Freedom Bird Formula which is at SEMA and they were very nice.

I don't have a good close up pic of them but someone will probably take a pic at the show.

ahh sweet so they are a reputable company then. Hard to know on the other side of the pond how good some of these companies are, tried to ring them but no answer, maybe they are at sema. Will have to check if they ship internationally. Ta guys.

The guys behind Hoodpins.net are very good people. They will take care of you for sure. As for the international shipping you will need to double check with them but there are several other companies shipping parts to others "down under". I would think they can work it out for you.

Post up some more pictures of your 69 if you can.

Will do in a week or so,just sent the car back to the painters. Hate it when the more you look the more you find things wrong.

ringbrothers has a couple different styles. See if any of those are what you're looking for.

Yeah looked at the ring brothers ones but didnt see any lockables. I am deleting the bonnet catch mech so I need lockables, really like the hoodpin.com ones but just waiting on a return email from them.

Thanks for helping me out here! I'm on this blackberry so it is difficult to read through the entire thread but if you still need pins let me know and I will help you out. Staci

Hey Staci, do you guys have the lockable type?
They have a locking pin that has a button you push to remove the pin itself but they do not lock like some that I saw at SEMA where you had to have some sort of a key to open the hood.
Sorry if this doesn't help. I just got off my flight from Vegas - call me tomorrow at 608-588-5377 and I can explain better.
Thanks,
Staci
