Here's mine.

My birthday was a few days ago and at 29, I figured I was aware of the many great things life had to offer.
Why the hell did no one tell me about thick cut Maple Bacon!? From the moment the brick of bacon landed on my lap from my brother, my mind had been blown. This wasn’t some random occasion that you just take on willy-nilly. No, you plan for this, you plot, you use schematics!
The night before I carefully thawed the bacon so it was the perfect temperature. I laid out the schematics in a row this morning and dove right in. Good god, it was glorious. I opened the package to the most amazingly awesome wafting of maple syrup and bacon aroma. It was going to be good. The 1/4″ strips were daunting to say the least to cook. Each one required the utmost care and precision attention during the cooking process.
Crunchy on the outside and softish in the middle, just like a good baguette I once had roaming the streets of Paris after a long jet lagged morning. No mistakes about it, my kitchen is not Paris. But, for the briefest of moments…. it was a syrupy-bacony-sugary-glorious-lustful-stellar blissful heaven.
No bacon. No eggs. No toast. Not even any coffee...YET. That last one is a must have. Me and Sam here meet often for breakfast.
I am jealous.
Happy belayed birthday! Mine was last month (Oct 17). 39. One more year and I will be officialy old!

the cost of bacon has really went up/about 6 bucks for a pack of good bacon.
every morning i make my wife a fried bacon and egg sandwiche and i eat about 4 scrambled eggs and bacon.the dogs get 2 eggs each with a few pieces of bacon on it. eating breakfast really does make you feel good thrueout the morning.that bacon you have a pic of does look tasty.is it very sweet?i kinda prefer a smokey flavour.i need to start a farm with chickens and hogs/:P
You wouldn't believe me if i told you..... :unibrow:
Try me. It couldn't be that bad can it? (or that good? Like a big steak with all the trimmings? )

During the week I juice and go to the gym for about an hour. I then come home and eat some oatmeal, peanut butter sandwich, or granola. The juice gives you a nice boost of energy to have a great workout on a light stomach. After the workout it's nice to eat something to fill you up. We went for a walk this morning then I had a bagle. I just started a week ago but I'm hooked on it. My energy levels have been noticably better naturally. I've done a couple others that are tastier:
2 carrots
1 apple
Handfull of strawberries
2 handfuls of fresh cranberries
2 carrots
Cantelope
Handful of grapes
2 handfuls of cranberries
Handful of spinach
I've been busting my balls at the gym for a long time and partying like a rock star. Lately I've been drinking alot less and living a little cleaner. What a difference!

That's a great way to go Todd. Use the juice in the am BEFORE working out, then come home and have the oatmeal, peanut butter and stuff AFTER working out. I usually always get hungry after working out. Mind you, I don't push my body as much as I used to. When I was younger, I used to do 90lb. dumbbell flat bench presses. Shoulders were blasted with 70lb dumbbell presses!! (YIKKEESS!!) lol:_paranoid :unibrow: :D
I still slightly heavy. I always try to go for walks and have an apple after wards.
Keep up the good work bro!!
I would really like to get into the routine of the walks and gym. We have such crappy weather here during the fall and winter it's hard to keep it going all year round (the walking) and we live next to a nice size lake with perfect roads for walking, not too much traffic or crazy dogs. But when it rains I just do not want to go. Now for the diet, I have changed that a lot in the last few months and it does make a HUGE difference. Even just doubling my water intake makes a big difference. It has cut down on my headaches by over 50% by itself. I have trashed shoulders so I can't do much upper body and both knees are also hammered so I have to watch the running at the gym but I can work on the cardio stuff. And I need to do more.
I am going to try your breakfast recipies Todd and see how I feel in 2-3 weeks. Thanks for the kick in the ass. I needed it!

Yep...two of my favorites. I'm doing 90's and 100's for a set of 10 and then to 110's for 5-7 reps. I had a really good bench in my early 20's but can't stand it anymore. Hurts my shoulders. I do all dumbells and smith machines now. I've been doing a set of 10 with 80's for military press for 6 months. I've tried 85's and I'm afraid I'll get hurt so I've stopped.
Try it Eric, you'll be surprised.
I will. I am going to get a new blender/juicer today. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks!
Hey, do you ever throw in calcium or any other vitamin suplements? Or do you feel the natural ones in the fruits and veg are enough?

That's some good weight there Todd. Good going my man. I've backed off a lot myself. No need to be a "macho man" and lift every weight in sight anymore!! lol:_paranoid :unibrow:

Same here. One every morning.
I take BCAA's as well, which are Branched Chain Amino Acids, which are made up of the three most important Amino Acids to help build and repair muscle. I take 2 capsules 15 minutes before working out and then 2 capsules right after working out.

VERY COOL ERIC!! Good to hear that you are starting to work out. It's good for your body and heart. Makes you feel good and look good as well. Drinking the water will help out your body huge!! I drink a half gallon of water, or more, a day. PLUS, muscles are made up of about 70% water.
Keep up the good work buddy!
So 3 slices of bacon, 3 eggs and 3 pieces of toast for breakfast for the last 4 days in a row. That kind of wasted the good I had done just before that. I can feel my arteries hardening as we speak.....
Got to get back on track Monday. I could feel it working and it made me more alert and energetic. Now I feel like a slug.
The smoothies are killer and help a bunch. Going to restock on the fruits tomorrow.

Just make sure you are using veggies just as much. The fruits should mask the veggies. Been doing 3-4 carrots, orange, granny smith apple, large handful or fresh spinach, 3 staks of celery, handful of strawberries. Gives me the tingles when I drink it.

Good points Todd. I will do that. I am heading to the store this afternoon so good timing for me. Thanks.
Are you adding ice or yougurt (or both) in the mix listed above.
I was doing a handful of strawberries, an orange, two bananas, and a peach thrown in for good measure. With ice.
After I drank it I did feel much better. I caught this flu crud just before I started doing this and I noticed it was not as severe or last as long as it has in the past.
I am not quite sure how the bacon and eggs got back in the program. Lack of willpower I am sure.

Hi!
I generally take bread butter as a break fast with cup of tea and fresh fruit juice. I never take eggs and tea in my break fast. This is my favorite break fast. Some time I eat pasta. Fresh fruit juice is very good for health.
